My son and I are takin a trip to Orlando,Florida its the first time on a plan . What should i expect?

depending on what airline and how far you will have the option to watch a movie your supposed to pay for it but if the TVs fold down from the top you can put normal headphones in the jack and sill hear it. you may get a meal they are not great but not bad either if your hungry they are good best to bring something you like. get there in advance for securities walk through also no container containing liquid. you'll be fine and its really easy to navigate the airports don't worry.

IT depends how old the kid but i would not really worry if he's over 4 yrs.

Hey! You'll be fine. Flying is actually fun. I have had to fly from an early age to visit my dad and plus go back and forth to boarding school. Just go and have a good time. Nothing to worry about.

The only difference really from other modes of transportation is the cabin pressure. Your ears kind of feel like they're blocked a bit but it's nothing to worry about at all. Also, wear/dress in comfortable clothing.Goodluck! :o)

Good Grief - Orlando is not dark and scummy. It's a great city to live in and visit. Sure there are areas with more crime than other areas - find a city that doesn't have any.

As far as flying goes - prepare to do a lot of waiting at the airport and in the plane. Make sure that your son has plenty to do. Let him take his own backpack with things like books or small toys (I'm assuming he's young). Also make sure you are familiar with all the restrictions on what you can bring on the plane (like toiletries and sizes of things that are liquid). If it's a long flight, try to let him walk up the aisle a couple of times during the flight. Depending on his age, you might have to bring a car seat as well.

i have been with my family and it's absolutely amazing! i presume you're going to Disneyland. We went a couple of years ago about this time of year and the weather is really nice, very hot. You can get a 'fast pass' which lets you get to the front of the queue for all the rides and shows. There are loads of different things to do. Go to a different park each day and go to parades and stuff. The only park we didn't go to is Epcot, but i would say the best one is Universal studios. there's loads of stuff to do and see, i can assure you, you will love it!!

Do you mean first time on a plane? There may be some turbulence. You'll fly over a lot of lakes in Florida. If you're coming from the north, which I'm assuming you are, you won't see Disney from the plane or anything. It's not a very interesting ride.

What sort of plan is your trip on or about? Does the plan include Epcot or Disney? Does your plan involve transportation to and from by rail, plain or bus?

make sure you bring something to chew or suck on so your ears dont pop..going up and going down make sure you suck on something.

stay in the tourist district international drive from universal to walt disney everything else is poverty stricken drugs gangs and other criminal environment.orlando is very dark and scummy minus the i-drive area
