Yes-and he will need strong sunscreen. I do not know what part of the country you are from but Florida has very strong sun. If you are not use to it, you will burn easily! I have lived in Florida for 11 years and I wear sunscreen everyday. |

He should always be in shorts during the day. It is very hot during summer. Tshirts, shorts and tennis shoes. Only if he is planning to going to a nice restaurant or event, bring nice clothes |

He should definitely bring shorts and wear shorts. We have been experiencing a lot of rain also so an umbrella would be nice to walk with just in case. For the past week we're getting some showers. |

Florida is soooo hot during the summer months. The heat and the humidity are crazy. He needs shorts and lots of sunscreen plus a hat. He'll be doing a lot of walking in the sun and you won't want to risk him getting sunsick. Good walking shoes are also a must at Disney.
A tip on Animal Kingdom: there's less shade there overall, so I recommend that if he's going to this park to go there as early in the morning as possible. Park Hopper passes are great for this. Hop to one park then another.

Heaven's YES! OMG, it is so hot there right now, it would blow your mind. 90-95 degrees everyday and humidity that would strangle a cat. He will roast in pants, trust me. Shorts for everyone! |

Yes...it is very hot. I would bring only shorts. It does not get cool much at all at night anyway. He'll be comfortable at night in shorts and just hot in the day with whatever. |

YES!!! it'll be really hot and sunny. bring sun tan lotion and a bathing suit too. Dont forget to hit the waterparks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. You can check the weather for Orlando at www.weather.com and even get averages by month. |
