Not really, however, plans are to make the area near Staples Center like those venues. The Nokia theater just opened up acroos the street from Staples, and the area still has additional projects in the works...
Another area that tries to be one of those venues is Universal Citywalk. |

No it doesn't. At one time it was the four level freeway interchange. Now there are many focal points with most of the tourism in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica.

No, it really doesn't... for Beverly Hills it's Rodeo Drive, for Hollywood it's Sunset Blvd and Vine, but there's no real spot for the actual city of Los Angeles. Weird, I never thought about it before you asked.. :) |

the cool thing about LA is that theres several focus points. downtown/ staples center area, santa monica pier area, sunset strip and hollywood and highland. haha all u other cities just have 1 |
