Six Flags Fiesta Texas and if you go do not miss the laser light and fireworks show at the end of the day (at or around 9:00 or 10:00 PM. I forgot, but they announce it before it closes. Also the riverwalk, it is most beautiful to go to in the evening, there are restuarants etc. along there and you can ride the river boat also. Go down to the riverwalk across from the Alamo, by or through the Hyatt hotel, it is real pretty there. Sea World and the Alamo are also nice to go to.

one of the best places to go in the world. the Alamo or course the river walk of course. the part of the expo with museums and everything else left from that era. The military bases with their history especially Lackland. Sea world, the water park. The zoo is really cool. the entire area is steeped with history. go outside the city and explore the small towns, go to bracketville and see the Alamo set from the 50's very cool, maybe Del Rio and fish the best lake in the country. lake amistad. half is Mexico's. go north and see the hill country. Amazing. take your time and enjoy where God lives......

just to name a few. But my favorite is The River Walk.

If you go to the Alamo, watch out for the guardcat. Go across the street to the Courthouse/Post Office and you'll see frescoes that were painted back in the thirties when the place was built. The frescoes show the history of Texas from it's discovery by French nobleman,Robert LaSalle to present day.
How about the Scottish Rite Temple down the street from there. It's a library and no that's not the rooftop where "The Ghostbusters" was filmed, lol.
Come to the Institute of Texan Cultures. It's a museum that's run by the University of Texas @ San Antonio and has artifacts of all the different peoples who have come to what we now call Texas for the last 5,000 years. I would suggest the Tower of the Americas but they've been having problems with the elevator.
The Blue Star Art Gallery on Alamo Street @Probandt.

The riverwalk is mostly restaurants and the rivercity mall is right there. You can take a boat tour/taxi, there are segway tours - a store across from Dilliards, I think, on the same street as the alamo, Ripley's and the wax museum

TONS of things to do there. Alamo, River Walk, Zoo, Witte Museum, King William Historical District, Fort Sam Houston, bus tour of the historical missions. If you go a bit out of town, you have New Braunfels and tubing down the Guadalupe or Comal River, dude ranches in Bandera, Arts and other stuff in Fredericksburg.... like I said, TONS of stuff.
