California; especially in the bay area. Everyday is sunny even if its a bit chilly. Sure we have our bad neighborhoods but what place doesnt? Plus California has an assortment of schools for a 20 year old
New york seems like a busy place thats overpopulated and dangerous to be living by yourself.
Virginia ; seems quite boring. |

California is way better and awesome but Florida is way dangerous it has hurricanes tornadoes and earthquakes sometime there are earthquakes,California is a better place to live. |

I've lived in and near NY for my whole life but I have done extensive travel to California and Virginia.
Proximity to family is important for me, so that kind of dictates NY as my choice. I love NY. You have the change of seasons. Living near NYC, you have great restaurants, access to pro sports, museums, beaches. Just a short drive to upstate NY or VT for Skiilg and Camping (important to me).
Keep in mind that the best place to live in my opinion is outside the city proper but a short rail ride into the city. In NJ, I have a shorter commute into Midtown Manhattan than some people that LIVE IN NYC. Hoboken or Weekawken NJ is right on the river and is a 5 minute path train ride into Manhattan. If I were single, that's where I would be looking for a place.
If I lived in Virginia, I would live near DC for the same types of conveniences that I have near NYC. I would probably pick Tyson Corners.
If I lived in California, I would pick either the Bay Area near SF/Oakland. Nice weather, close to wine country, great beaches, great restaurants, jobs. My secondary California pick would be San Diego (best weather in the country). |

THE BEST WEATHER IS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, Southern california, AND CITY WISE I WOULD SAY LOS ANGELES OR HOLLYWOOD, OR EVEN THE SANFERNANDO VALLEY. They have great ccolleges and Art institutes, If you are interested in working for the entertainment or fashion industry definetly California. There are tons of job opprotunitys, and the weathers great but be aware of morning traffick its a pain in the butt. well.. Good Luck in choosing. |

New York = TOO CROWDED, IT'S WORSE THAN Los Angeles
Virginia = you like hurricanes?
California = too many people, its like separate country from the U.S.
great place to live? Boston or New Jersey |

California.
There's so much to do here and everything is pretty much diverse. We have nice weather all-year round and most people are chill and laid back. (I personally can't stand cold weather)
Virgina, I don't know too much about.
If you like cold weather and the city, then New York would probably be for you. |

NYC, in Manhattan.
It's sooo nice.
I'm planning on going to college there and then moving there when I graduate.
It's so exciting and it has everything. You can't get bored there. It's beautiful. And there are so many different types of people and so much diversity.
I've been to Virginia many times and I'm not a fan at all. I can't live in the south. It doesn't feel right at all.
I've never been to California, but I would assume LA is the most desirable living area. |

Virginia...newyork is over crowded and the cost of living is high. you will need a roommate.. shopping is great however.
Cali has too many fires and earthquakes.. you may die..
Virginia's temperature is cool.. never too hott. never too cold.. and its only a 8 hour drive to new york in case you want to shop... |
