Both are great. But NY can feel more liberating 'cause you can just walk every where or take the subway or hail a cab on the street. There's always something to do or see while your walking down the street.
In LA you will always need a car, but the city is nice and green, has beautiful beaches, and did I mention the weather?!!! |

I've never been to the States and both cities sound a great place to visit. Hopefully I will one day. But the city I have always have dreamed to visit is NY. After that, and in North America, it would be San Francisco, Boston and L.A., in this order. |

LA all of the way!!!! In Los Angeles, we look better, because we have a lot beaches, so there are lots of nice tanned bodies walking around. When you see a White person in LA verses a White person that lives on the east coast, there is a big complexion difference. The skin, hair and bodies look better. Many people in LA have a glow to their skin.
We have nice cars, nice homes, many clean areas, and lots of space. We have a night life here too, you just got to be in the know and be somebody to live in it. |

Apples and oranges!
I live near L.A., and I love the weather and the fact I can access the ocean, mountains, deserts and points in between in just a matter of hours! But New York has Broadway, Central Park, all those boroughs, and a unique sensibility that won't quit! Like Randy Newman, I love L.A., but I thoroughly enjoyed New York -- and New Yorkers -- the one time I visited. |
