I foretell she will live in Seattle. I would say sooner rather than later.

I felt that way about Colorado, although admittedly, I had been there twice before going to live there. Sometimes there's something about a place that just captures your imagination, even if you don't fully know why. I moved here to Issaquah, just about 15 miles east of Seattle, two and a half years ago and I really like it. I'd say it's at least time for her to pay us a visit; I'd suggest the spring time, after it's gotten a little less rainy and a bit warmer, when everything is blooming. Sometimes, something is just meant to be. :-) |

It is a very nice area.
Whether she wants to move here permanently or just go to college here - it is a totally different vibe here than the in New England. Especially NY, too. I have lived out there and I much prefer the environment here, except in the winter when it gets pretty grey out for many days at a time.
Gotta go - first sunshine in a week just started! |

Is she a fan of Nirvana? Pearl Jam? Death Cab for Cutie?
This is the homeplace of a lot of budding music and artists, Maybe she feels destined b/c of that. |

She should def take a visit over here to check out the area! I live in Seattle and think it's pretty fantastic, but that's coming from me who stays here because I love it! I don't doubt that she could also come here and love it, but before she comes and doesn't, she should come get a feel for the whole vibe and environment of the city. I went to UW also, as well as my sister, and think it's a great school of choice! |

I'm obsessed with Portland Oregon and London, England. I've visited Portland once before and I LOVED IT there... never been to england though.. just have loads of online friends from there! |

Maybe there's a specific reason as to why she wants to go there so badly it could be because of something she wants to do with her life or a boy maybe she knows lives there that she likes. It's not really weird she has dreams and I think that's great try asking her so that you better understand what exactly it is about Seattle that makes it so appealing to her! |

I think lots of us have afantasy place that we think is where we want to be. Being fed up with where she is now only helps that feeling. If you can swing it, get her a trip out there. |

I don't think it's too weird - she'd probably love it here! There's lots of hiking trails and things to do outdoors. I think she should come out and visit though, and see it for herself! I had never really spent much time here in Seattle (I was born in Vancouver, BC, so sometimes landed here in Seattle then drove up) and was living in South Florida when I got a job offer up here. I threw caution to the wind and packed up and moved and it's the best decision I've made in my life! |
