Who says you are too old for Disney? Disney has nothing to do with age. It is all just a fantasy world which should be peaceful and enjoyable. I have a friend who when there when she was 38 or 39 years old. She had a great time. The thing is that you should be happy to have a family who wants to spend time with you. There are children who don't have a family and that opportunity. Make them happy and go. You might just have a great time. |

I would get over myself if I were in your shoes. When you say you're too old to be going to places for fun, what you're actually saying is how immature you are. |

Hahahahaha please... no one is too old for Disney World. I say go! Have a great time! You know Disney World isn't just for kids. It's for big kids too. Do you know how expensive a Walt Disney World Vacation can be? Trust me... take advantage of your parents wanting to take you and let them pay for everything. One day very very soon, you'll have to pay for that kind of stuff by yourself and you'll REALLY wish you would have taken advantage of their kindness. Have fun with your family. If you are over 18... which I'm assuming you are if you're "sooo old," check out the other fun, but more adult things Disney World has to offer:
The fast attractions at Disney, like Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, etc...
Visit Pleasure Island at night to dance at any of their great clubs - note you have to be 21 to get into 2 of them
Take surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon before the park opens. Check it out online at www.disneyworld.com
Sure wish my parents would take me there! I have to pay for my own trips!
Have a great time. |

Well, how old are you? My friends has been to Disney Land when she was 17 and she really enjoyed it. I think you're never too old for that. |

Last year I went with my mum. I am 24 and she is 51. This year, my brother and his girlfriend are going with us; they are 26 and 23, respectivly.
I don't believe you are too old (especially if your parents still take you on holiday), but if you feel like you are too old, tell them. However, just because you feel you are too old, they are not too old to enjoy Disney, and realise that they might want to go and feel obliged to take you, or that they would rather you went. This may not be about you and you should let your paents choose where to go, I mean if you are too old then they should go where they want, and they may just be doing that. |

Honey, you are never too old for Disney World. My husband and I are now taking our grown children and their children. If you have never been there, you have no idea what you are in for. There are plenty of age appropriate rides and attractions for you. Just go with an open mind and enjoy yourself. |

Honey, you are never too old for Disney World! There is so much to do and see. I am 44 and my son is 25 and we go every year!!!
Go to the Walt Disney World website. You can click on a link that will show you things for teens or adults to do!
You should go buy a Walt Disney World guidebook , such as PassPorter, or Birbaum's. Get it at your local bookstore. You can look through it and find so much stuff to do. Many things you would never know about just by walking through the park. |

Based on your other questions asked Megan, you're not too old to go. Have fun. |

No matter how grown up you think you are, you are never too old for a free vacation. Go and enjoy yourself. One day soon you will be a grown-up, working for a living, and not being able to afford a vacation to Disney or anywhere else! |

are you talking Disney world or the Magic Kingdom? WDW has 4 different parks try the animail park w/everest (a great roller coaster!) as well as a few other rides for older teens, or mgm stuidos w/ tower of terror & aerosmith's rockin' roller coaster both parks are at disney world. Or you can see if they will go for Universal's Islands of Adventure my daughter & I (she is 17) loves that park in Orlando the hulk roller coaster rules! If not be glad they want to take you anywhere and don't ruin it there is much you will enjoy at Disney just give it a chance, my daughter and I just came back from a trip in June and had another great time! |

Disney World has added a lot of activities to make it more interesting for teens. Check out www.disboards.com and look at the Teen Forum.
Just go and enjoy the time with your parents. One day you may be dealing with your own kids and you will understand. |

Well..........I don't know how old you are, but I am 21 and I absolutely adore Disney World! I go every year! There is tons of stuff to do there for any age group. My husband is 23 and he really has a lot of fun, too.
Have you ever been to Disney World? If you haven't, you really should give it a try, because I think you would enjoy it. I know of people who are in their 50's and still go there for vacation! Trust me, it's a lot of fun. They have plenty of "more adult" rides so it's not only for younger children.
If you still don't want to go, just be honest with your parents. I am sure they would understand and appreciate your honesty. They most likely won't want to take you somewhere that you wouldn't have any fun at!
Good luck! |

Go and have fun! My parents took me when I was 16 and although I did feel like I was "too old" for it then, it's fun to have the memories now!! Just remember to enjoy it no matter what :) |

If its all for you, then i would suggest another place to your parents (such as if it was for your b-day or something) but if it is just a gesture of kindness, just go and try to enjoy yourself. Asking them to go somewhere else may hurt there feelings and soudn extremely selfish. Besides, no one is ever too old for Disney World!!! LMAO |

Your parents sound like great people to be willing to spend big bucks on you for a vacation. You, on the other hand, sound like a spoiled brat. If this was your money, you could choose where to go on a vacation - but it is your parent's money - so shut up and enjoy the free ride. At least, pretend to enjoy the free ride. It will not be this easy when you are out on your own and have very little money due to your lack of employable skills because Mommy and Daddy have given you everything on a silver platter. |

I'm 38 with a 2 year old daughter and I enjoy Disney World, which includes Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach (Water Park) Typhoon Lagoon {Water Park} too much fun....and of course, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure are also in Orlando and have tons of rides. GO!!!
You'll have fun.... You're parents need this time with you as well, as when you go off to college and begin your life journey, time with them will be not as available as it is now. |

If that place is too old for you, well, you are going to be in Florida and there are other places in Florida that you can go that you might feel is age appropriate. You can Google "places to stay in Florida for teens" (considering you are a teen) that you might be interested in.
How about Universal Studios? That would be nice. But, I do not know how old you are and I do not know exactly what you like but you can do what I just said above. Wherever you decide to go (or just end up going to Disney World) I hope you have a good time. Or, at least, try to. |

disney is the coolest, but if you think ur over that stuff still please your parents and go nearby to downtown disney. dining shopping and nightclubs all within the disney premises. But for the clubs you must be 21 with ID! |

I think you should offer some suggestions to the places you would like to go. Just sit your parents down and explain to them why you don't want to go to disney World. |

Try Universal Studios, (my favorite park), and Sea World. There are lots of people your age there and tons of stuff to do, and lot's of people to meet. You won't get bored I could tell you that much!
In the evening, check out Disney's City Walk, it's like the summer hang out for teens, and young folks as well as older couples...real cool, check it out.. |
