OCLOVER

Everyday in Orlando the forecast says a chance of thunder showers with rain. There is always a chance of rain but many times it does not happen. I was in Orlando last week and every single day there was a chance of rain over 40% but it only rained for about an hour one day and for 15 minutes on another day. One day there was a 70% of rain but it did not rain. Orlando is also in a drought right now so there has not been much rain. Another thing to remember is that it rains in Orlando but then it passes extremely fast. So the answer is yes, you will get a tan. |

Rain or water does not block the sun - be sure to wear sun block or you will burn! Even when people are in the ocean they burn. People are told when they come to Florida to wear sun block and they think it doesn't matter - then the rest of their vacation is ruined from terrible sunburn.
The rain usually passes in an hour or less - doesn't rain all day. Usually the rain comes in the afternoon in the summer. |

sure, the sun gets thru the rain, or you can sun before or after the rain. But, there's always tanning beds :-) |

definatly without a doubt. Here in Florida, you get a tan even during a storm. Sun here is really strong. Remember, we are in the rainy season in Florida and even that, you will not have no problems |

That's not true, we have sunny days here too. Best bet is to plan out in advance when your coming to Orlando. In the summer we do get rain storm frequently, usually clouds roll in at around 3:30 to 4:00 PM. Mornings and afternoons are lovely for the most part. Best months to avoid rain are November to early June. |

Most rain this time of year is brief and hard. So you shouldn't have much problem getting a good degree of sun! |

Go out in the sun during the morning hours. The rain usually starts in the afternoon, around 3 or so. |
