Just 2 States with a Spread of Pennsylvania in the Middle...There are some nice historic towns in Virginia worth visiting, and new york is a variety of country on the west side, and big city on the east side....AKA New York City......the states are not far apart so there really isnt much of a terrain or climate difference.
