Try asking this same question in the "Other United States" sub-category. When you ask people in the Los Angeles section this question you will obviously get an overwhelming vote for southern California, just like asking it in the San Francisco section would give the opposite result. Too much local bias is involved for an unbiased response. |

This is such a sad question for me...
I live in SF so I'm supposed to say "Norcal" but really I always wanted to live in Southern California. Don't tell anyone. They'll run me out of the city...
It's probably like 60 degrees there... |

socal= stuck up people with lots of money, fake boobs, and dyed blond hair
norcal= hippies with lots of marijuana, wine, and dyed red or blue hair
I've lived in both and would have to say that if you are into people, then move to norcal, b/c the people there are very accepting to others. If you are into sunny weather and educated/stuck up white people, then move to socal...oh and LOTS of Mexicans in so cal |

Lived in SoCal all my life but go to NorCal pretty often; I'd have to say that I like the weather down here a lot more, plus it's a lot more urbanized (which I'm into, but hey, some people like the forrest...)
Yeah, I'd have to say that the forests are actually a pretty big turn-off. I'm going to say SoCal. |
