sorry not the best one to help with this as there is no way I could go on this ride. Just about manage a normal rollercoaster. I am always amazed that others go on these really scary rides.

i was so scared i had never been on a roller coaster but i ddi it and now im obsessed with roller coasters all because of tower of terror.

If you don't like drops you will not like Tower of Terror that is basically what the attraction is...a series of drops. It's your vacation, don't do things that make you uncomfortable! |

OH MY GOD! I LOVED this ride i went a month ago today with our school for 3 days. I have to admit it was the best ride in the park and i went on it 4 times! and was even late for one of our lectures cos we went on it again! lol. You have to try it, also space mountain and The rock n' Roller rollercoaster was really good :)

Tower of terror was my favorite. I rode it several times. It's not like it's one long drop, it's several short ones...which I think is less intense. You should ride it if you think you can handle it. It was a lot of fun.

i hear you, and im going to be totally honest with you right now.. i HATED drops like acraphobia(sp) at six flags i could not handle at all! but one day i went with this guy and he picked me up and strapped me in an iwas nearly in tears... but i did it and it was scarry ill admit at first. but i think the more you do it the more tollerance you will have for it.. cause i used to be scared shitless of rollercoasters and now i can ride most all of them.. i did also ride tower of terror when i was younger and honestly that ride scared the **** out of me.. it was the biggest drop ever im not going to lie... but my point is i used to be scared like you and rode both those rides and now im pretty good about those things.. so as scarry as it may be.. just try it. |

I thought i would never like just dropping b/c i get freaked out about that but i could ride every single roller coaster and not have a problem... but i went on the tower of terror and OMG it was so awesome i loved it that i went on it 3 times.. just close your eyes the first time and hold on to the seat thats what i did but after that i opened my eyes and everything and it was fun! ohh yeah and if you go on it it drops after it tells you the story and when like the star part looking thing comes up... hope you go and ride it and have fun!!!! |

You stated you loathe drops, that is a very strong statement. But, it sounds as though you regret not giving it a try. I understand that completely. In all my visits, I have not rode this yet. Every trip I tell my self I will, but then find a reason not.
If you can get up the nerve just once you will find out if you loathe the ride or enjoy it. |

I love roller coasters..but HATE dropping. I was in Orlando in August with friends - and they managed to convince me to go on the Tower of Terror. It was about as much as I could handle. But, for my friends who love these types of rides - they were super disappointed in the ride - saying it was wimpy.
I wouldn't go on it again - it was a bit too much for me, but I feel good about going on it. I would say - go for it!! |

I LOVE the Tower of Terror. I know plenty of people who are afraid of roller coasters and drops, including my mom, who have gone on it and survived :). Plus, the part of the ride that does the actual dropping lasts for less than a minute, and the first drop is usually the only one where you get that feeling in your stomach. If you go on it and you hate it, at least you will know instead of always wondering. |

YES the tower of terror is so fun! you will get over your fear after you ride it because you will know that you survived it, and that no other rides will be that bad. |

It never hurts to try something once. The worst that happens is you absolutely hate the ride and never go on again. I have been scared of Tower of Terror ever since I was 5. Two years ago I rode it and when I got off I felt so good because I overcame my fear! I'm still kind of afraid but not as much and now I will ride without a problem.
I suggest trying it because you really have nothing to lose!
If you have been on all the other rides at Disney go on TOT just to say you have ridden all the rides. |

if you dont like dropping then dont do it, you will hate it. thats all the ride is, dropping. its no big deal i have been twice and havent done it as my fiance hates the thought of it for the same reason. 13 floors in one go no way. so even this year i wont do it again.
do not do it if you dont like the dropping!!!!! |

You will LOVE it!!!
I went on it when I was 9 or 10, and I went for last spring break and went on it again! It is really fun, and the dropping feeling is scary in a good way. It's just an adrenaline rush. You will not regret going on it....I was scared, but I went on and loved it.
Sometimes you just have to trust people. It's a really fun ride, and the drop isn't big enough to make you throw up or anything. Plus, it kind of tells a story during the ride, which is fun too.

I'm the same way!! However, I went on the Tower of Terror and it was SUCH A GREAT RIDE!!! It scared the garbage out of me....but A LOT OF FUN!!! If you have the chance....GO ON IT!!!! |

Yes, I posted a question like this about 6 months ago and when we went to disney I went on tower of terror!! It was so much fun now thats the ride I think about all the time its so awesome!!!! But, I dont feel the drop really on splash mountain. But my friend hates the splash mountain drop but loves Tower of Terror. I think youll like it.
PS-Have you ever been on muholland madness? I personally think that the drop there is worse. Tower of Terror Is just so quick and fun!! |

Absolutely!!.. I strongly suggest that you try it at least once. If you didn't like the experience then you can choose to not go on that ride again. At least you know what you are missing out on. The worst feeling is to not know how the experience is cuz you might end up regretting it later as to why you never attempted to get on it..
If you do decide to ride the tower of terror, then you will have a blast!!.. |
