Floridas school system is one of the worst in the nation. We rank 48th lowest/worst school system out of 50. Yes there are privite schools that are good in Central Florida, and there are one or two public schools that are very good. For your parents the wages are very LOW and cost of living here is pretty high with Housing taxes ,house insurance, car insurance.Stay were you are and visit Florida . |

i was born in florida, moved to massachusetts when i went into school, and i plan on moving to the south when im older (im in 9th grade) the school systems in florida are horrible (which is why we moved to massahusetts) living in florida is a lot different them visiting it. its not going to be a vacation aymore. but if thats what u really want then i dont blame you cause i hate massachusetts too, its sooo boring. |

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
the schools suck, the tourists suck, the weather sucks except for two weeks out of the entire year. Please we do not need anymore people. You will most likely not like it. Disney will will work you to the core like a slave. Trust me. |

I wouldn't move to downtown Orlando or right where all the parks/tourists are, but there are a lot of nice communities outside of Orlando that are less hectic. Winter Garden, Oviedo, Clermont... I have heard good things about these. Good luck. |

the humidity makes it miserable. U will get sooo sick of it. Especially if you are used to the colder weather like myself |

Seminole County (10 miles north of downtown Orlando) Has A rated schools that are some of the best in the country. It's a nice place to live -- I've been living her for 35 years and have yet to shovel snow..... |

Actually, during the winter in florida it can get down to 20 degrees F.
Florida does have some good schools if you move to a good neighborhood.
If you live somewhere nice then it's nice. during the summer it can get real hot though. but it's usually about and hour away from the beach. theme parks. that kind of stuff. |

I'd go closer to the ocean. Also, Orlando is gaining a lot of notoriety for a high murder rate. |

Y'all should move to Tampa or Indian Rocks Beach.
I live in Tampa but my parents have a house in Indian Rocks Beach and it's a great little town to live in. There's lots of stuff to do and the temperature is always great. I was there yesterday and it was 75 degrees and we went to the beach... in late December!!!
Today, it was so hot in Tampa that we literally had to turn the AC on. Tampa has its own theme parks (Busch Gardens & Adventure Island) and they hire at 16 and you will get hired quick (my friend worked there). Tampa is an amazing city. I just moved back from Melbourne (FL) to Tampa because I couldn't stand how boring that town was. There's always something to do in Tampa... like Gasparilla (Jan)... Strawberry Festival (Feb).
USF is a really good university over here and UT as well. The high schools here are okay.
Keep in mind that Orlando has a very high crime rate although it is an amazing/beautiful city with lots to do. |

put the glue down...the schools here suck, and there are no jobs so your parents will probably takethe amusemant park job and you will be unemployed. |

Move to Southern California with money in your pocket. Florida is sinking. |

Florida has a terrible school system so unless you can go to a private school, then Florida is not the place to go. |

I would say wait till you graduate and pick somewhere other than Orlando.......Orlando sucks....Traffic...transient...not on beach.....crappy neighborhoods.....Move somewhere like Sarasota or Clearwater or like where I live in Bonita Springs and visit Orlando. Believe me it sucks.... |
