Yes. go in September. She will probaly be able to get on some rides but the magic of Dusney alone will amaze her. Perfect age to use her imagination with Mickey,Minnie, Donald etc. Make sure to take lots of pictures so she can always remember her time there! It will be a lot of fun. They even have the character breakfeast which she would love! Have fun! |

Yes, BUT do take your time... don't rush through, don't stress, concentrate on a few things. Let her figure out by herself what she likes... last time I went with my girls (age 3 1/5 and 5 years), they loved the little merry-go-round with airplanes... BIG impressive rides doesn't impress little folks - just scares them. Relax and DON'T try to see everything. Have fun! |

Your both have good points.
By taking her now she will really love the Magic Kingdom. We took my son when he was seven and allot of the magic was already behind him.
Your husband is thinking that the crowds, trip, and constant go, go, will wear all three of you out and what fun is that.
Disney has allot of services for parents to enjoy themselves too. Don't be stubborn and refuse to use them. You and your husband need quality time too. Contact a Disney planner, (go to there web sight) and discuss the options.
I fully recommend September and October over the summer and school vacation months GOOD LUCK! (p.s. take me with you!) : - [ ) |

4 is a tough age...
she won't really remember it b/c she's too young, but she will really enjoy it. If you wait until she's too old, she may think it's a trip for "babies" and not enjoy it at all. Tough call. |

She is a great age for Disney! Heck, my parents took me when I was only weeks old and got some of the cutest photographs you've ever seen. She'll have a ball! Magic Kingdom is geared for kids her age and she will be able to do almost everything! She may not be tall enough for some of the faster rides (48inch height requirement), but there is so much to see and do! And Septebmer/October are the best months to go because the crowds die down and it isn't as hot out.
If you want to make the trip truly memorable for her, stop by The World of Disney Store at the Downtown Disney Marketplace and step into the Bippidi Boppity Boutique. There, Disney hair and makeup specialists will dress her in the princess gown of her choice (you guys pick it out and all of the accessories), and then they do her hair and makeup and add sparkly glitter to her eyes and cheeks. I've never seen so many happy little girls walk out of that store in my entire life. She'll love it!

Too young there is not many rides for that age and she wont remember it. However they have plenty of other activities that she would enjoy |

A four year old is clearly old enough to go to Disney World. She will marvel at the place and have a wonderful time. |

Of course you should. It is fun not only for your kid, but for you too. Enjoy this time while you can. Kids will not always be with you!!! |

There are places in Disneyland / Disney World for all ages. I would say you would have more options for fun if she were a little older, but there are plenty of rides she can go on. |

I think she's old enough to go. Disney is the place to go for all ages. |

She's too young because she wont really remember it when she's older so you wont get the kudos for taking her. |

I say you take her!!! :)Little girls love princesses and think she would also love the fireworks. Although...your husband is also right she won't want(I think) to get on the rides or probably they won't let her either. My cuisin is 5 and she is "afraid" of Disneyland, she doesn't like it. when we go she rather wants to stay with grandma.
*~~Good Luck~~~* |

you should take her to disneyland because they have a lot of kiddie rides for the kids. They'll have fun, plus disneyland is made for kids that age. |

My kids started going to Disneyland at 1 year of age - mind you they don't have any memories from then - but they had a wonderful time. At age four your daughter will thouroghly enjoy herself. She will be able to ride almost all rides except the rides like space moutain. Definately do it over a couple of days, take breaks to avoid over stimulation & melt downs. Also at that age I would stick strickly to the Magic Kingdom and skip the other parks in Disneyworld. |

I know you have already recieved plenty of answers on this but I just wants to tell you that I took my 2 year old last October and he still talks about it. Infact, we are taking him and his now 2 year old sister back this weekend. There is plenty for them to do there and she will have the time of her life. He still talks about specific rides that he loved. He is pumped for this weekend. Take lots of pictures and frame a few for her room. She will remember the trip for a very long time I promise. |

We just came back from Disney with our 5 year old twins and had a great time. But I say you might want to wait one more year before you go. At 5 there were enough things for them to keep them busy and entertained but also a lot of things that they were frightened by. Had we gone a year earlier, I don't think they would have gotten as much out of the trip as they did.
Regardless of when you go, get your hands on the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" at your local bookstore. Going to Disney with little ones is best done with a fair amount of planning ahead of time. This book is filled with time and money saving ideas that really work. |

I would definitely take her. She may be too young to really remember the trip. But, take a camcorder and a camera and take pictures and video like a mad-lady ;-) These will be memories that you will cherish forever and together you will have fun watching in the future. The first trip to Disney is more for the parents enjoyment, you will never forget the trip. Her next trip should be when she is a little older and will be able to ride almost everything and enjoy it. But, she should still be young enough to really feel the true magic of Disney, that only a child can feel. 7 or 8 is the perfect age for a second trip.
But there will be plenty that she can do to have a good time and enjoy the trip. Your going to blink and she is going to be in college, so enjoy the time while you can! |

She'll have a BLAST!! I started going when I was 2, and I've gone every other year since then (I'm 25). I've always had fun there. |

She is not too young to appreciate it. There is lots and lots to do and see for a four-year-old. Disney World is very small-child-friendly.
However, I would recommend waiting for this reason: The sheer size and scope of the Disney parks in Florida means that with a four-year-old along you will only get to do and see a fraction of what you could cover with an older child. My husband and I have spent a total of twenty-four days at Disneyworld in the last six years and still have not seen or done it all. Wait until your daughter is older and you will be able to see and do much more. Disney World is not cheap, at any season. Get your money's worth. |

Take her to Magic KIngdom. She will have so much fun because that park is focused towards the kids. |

She will love it! Just don't overdo it by staying at the park too long every day, (hoping to get your money's worth) It is no fun once the kids get cranky.
If you stay on Disney property, you can always go back to your resort room for naps and return later in the day.
There are things there geared to ALL different ages. And when you want to go on the "non-kiddie" rides, you can do child-swap. you all go through the line together, at the ride, one of you goes and one stays with the small child. After the first person gets off the ride, you "swap" and don't have to stand in line again. |

She would find a day at Magic Kingdom pretty exciting, even though she's not old enough to appreciate the majority of the offerings. Remember though, that she is going to tired and have "had it up to here" with the park long before Mom and Dad have seen and done all they want to see and do.
Your options (1) accept this and make a short day of it, despite the high ticket price (2) get a hotel adjacent to the Magic Kingdom and take an afternoon break for some familiar "from home" foods and toys, and a nice long nap (3) wait a few years.
I don't think such a young child would care for Epcot or MGM at all, and after taking the Safari ride, might be restless and Animal Kingdom as well.
If your family has the money, I'd suggest a couple nights at a WDW hotel, one day at the Magic Kingdom, and one day for some non-theme park activities like Bird Island, a character breakfast, Lego Land, Wilderness Farm, and so on. Typhoon Lagoon is a great water park, if your daughter likes water. |

I took my niece when she was 3 and she could ride alot of the rides she is now almost 6 and remembers alot about our trip and can't wait to go back in 2007. My sons first trip was when he was 4 and he remembers everything too. The only things your daughter will not be able to do is the roller coaster and thrill rides but if you go on the disneyworld.com and check out the rides and attractions you will see there is alot of things that does not have a height requirement. She will love meeting the princesses. My son is now 6 almost 7 and we went in April and he could ride every ride they have because the height requirement on the rides are not that much and he had a ball. September is a great time to go kids are back in school and the lines will be alot shorter. I hope this helps and have a magical trip. |

She is to young to remember any of it, small children don't start retaining info until about 6 yrs old anything before that is a blur. Disney is fun but the rates are not cheap by any streach of the imagination no matter what time of year it is keep your eye on specials and package deals. |
