what`s the big deal, the`re just tame dolphins in a pen that drag you by their dorsals, wow, not exactly interacting with another species in their natural envirovent.
sorry to burst any bubbles but I`ve had to watch friends videos of it and they didn`t look too excited at the time, quite dissapointed when they saw the next person in line just waiting for their turn.
But if that`s your thing then San Diago is more your destination or Mexico, they definetly do that in Cancun. |

Yes, they do still offer it. Which part of FL are you going to? If Orlando, I would suggest this place:

I heard this place was really fun in Key Largo:

And this one in St. Augustine:

Hope that helps. |

Swimming with wild dolphins in open waters is prohibited within the US.
However, Discovery Cove in Orlando has a program, in a controlled environment "theme park", where you can spend about 45 minutes in a group and individually with Dolphins, in the water with them. Then the rest of the day you spend at the park food, drink included, snorkling around coral reefs, stingrays, tropical fish. It is definitely worth the experience and you and your family will love it. Discovery Cove is part of SeaWorld with admission (call ahead for reservations) you get 7 days free to SeaWorld. If you can check out their website.
Good Luck & Have Fun. |

Try Cocoa beach just after sunrise...wear a string bikini...they seem to like that, just swim out and a big male will find you...lol
Discovery cove is EXPENSIVE...over $300 last I checked...they damn well better give you "free" admission to sea world...lol. p.s. there is also a long wait time to get reservations at DC...so if you are planning to do it there plan way ahead...as in months.p.p.s. if marineland in st. augustine (it's actually south of there) does it I'd check them out...it's a small place and the crowds are very light so I'd expect to get in there much easier...been there a few times, it's an old marineland from the 60's...kinda quaint now. |

you need to go to discovery cove it's just opposite seaworld but your child needs to be over 6 (i think) i know there is a age limit!! we did it a couple of years ago wonderful!! but you have to spend the day there, it's a bit like being on a tropical island for the day! do it half way through the holiday when you so tired you can't stand!! |

My two girls did it at age 3 and age 6. They both have great memories. What a great experience. I would recommend it. My younger daughter still takes her stuffed dolphin to show and tell at preschool. |

I've seen some pretty disastrous reports on the news and on the animal shows on TV about swimming with dolphins. i would never allow my children to do it. Too much chance of something going wrong, after all they are wild animals. Would you let your child go into a cage and play with a grizzly bear!? In my eyes it's the same thing! |

Swimming with dolphins is great until they try to kill or f*ck you. Nothing like being around 1,000 pounds wild animals! |
