all of the rides in disney world are AMAZING i have been there six times to the one in florida and i am going to the one in california this year! the tea cups wont make you feel sick my 4 year old brother loved them! just dont spin the wheel and you will be fine.Space mountain is an awesome ride to go on in disney! you should definatly try all of the rides because after you will feel like you missed out if you dont and it will just be a waste of time going!. If you travel to MGM you should deffinatly try out the tower of terror and rock'n'rollar coaster that ride is AMAZING!

K
Didn't make me feel sick. Just don't eat too much beforehand. Have fun!!!

no the tea cups don't make you sick! ride all the rides!

Especially go on Soarin' - it's in Epcot. Get a fast pass early in a day as they tend to run out.

check out the disney website - www.disneyparks.com - you will have a blast!

It's funny probably for me it's one of the worst rides for making me feel sick and my children just belly laugh the whole time at me. I think it stems back to going on the Waltzers at the fair when I was a little girl, they are very similar to that only you dont go up and down. As for what should you and shouldn't you go on the list would be endless so if you have got an hour to spare it would be worth going onto the www.disney.com website and looking at all the rides it gives you a bit of info on them and some if not most have a small video clip just to give you an idea of what they are like.
Hope this helps x

no. i love the teacup ride. i didnt get sick.

My dad got really sick on the teacups, but I was fine. He is prone to getting sick on rides, though. I guess it all depends on if you usually get sick on rides or not. If you usually get sick on rides, I would stay off of it.

Yeah the tea cups can make u sick, if you spin them fast. Well most of the rides are fun. If your not scared try to go on all of them. I use to go to Disney every other weekend because my uncle worked there, and is the manager over Animal Kingdom now.

itchianna
You are in control of how much the twirl, so there is not problem there.

Anything with spinning in circles can make me a tad ill, so yes, I have issues with the teacups. Another ride that they have that made me sick was the Mission: Space ride because it simulates gravity through the use of centrifugal force. It getting dizzy makes you sick, don't ride this one!

The rides at Disney World are all mostly pretty tame...I get motion sick really easy, but the ONLY ride there that bothered me was the teacups. All the rest are fine :)

musiclife1222
If spinning rides make you sick, then yes. I get upset on spinning rides and I went on the tea cups once and I was find but then I went on it again and had to make a mad dash to the restroom.

Teresa T
if you don't like or can't handle spinning don't go on it.
go to disneyworld.com and you should be able to look at all the rides.

I avoid the tea cups...I can't take spinning rides. each cup is spun by the riders so you can make it milder if you aren't riding with a crazy spouse/kids. but I personally skip it cause the kids aren't happy if it isn't spinning like crazy.

I can ride just about anything at disney...but even dumbo can make me quesy cause it goes in a circle. i ride it with no lasting effects...and as long as I keep my eyes on the elephant I am riding in - I will be fine. It is when I watch the park going by that I get the quesy feeling.

Definitely Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain. Though all the rides are better at disneyLAND. I hated disneyworld it was boring....if you're in orlando go to islands ofr adventure/universal studios. We spent all our time there because it was a lot more fun.
