austin, tx. is by far one the coolest cities in north america. from good food, drunken bars and beautiful people. you will not regret it.

lolo lala
Lived in Austin for 9 years. Can't stand the place, hope to never have the misfortune to be stuck there again. Too hot, too expensive, too over-rated, people too arrogant, too boring, too nauseating, too disgusting, too horrible, too disgusting...........yeeeeecccchhhhhh!!!...

San Antonio and Dallas, both fine places to visit and quite a bit different from each other.

I am a Natvie Texan so I am really biased. There is a climate for everyone in Texas. The people are the best. Come to San Antonio, go to Dallas, Houston or the Gulf Coast.

Katherine M
I live in Wichita Falls Texas but I like Dallas Houston Austin and Chorpus Christy the best!!

Miz D
I haven't lived there for many years but I grew up in a little town called Alvord, Texas, so that's my favorite place to visit. I also like the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

tooyoung2bagrannybabe
I have lived in Texas. Houston is my favorite because all my family live there.

Austin/San Antonio just 2 hours apart. Austin for Threadgils and 6th street with its music. San Antonio for the River Walk/ Alamo area and in between lies New Braunfels and the spring fed Comol River andSchliterbaun and also out there near San Marcus an outlet mall type shopping area with like 180 stores.

Corpus Christie and the Holiday Inn Sun Spree Resort on North Padre Island if you like the beach.

I live in North Central Texas.

ellen
Dallas (shopping, etc.)
Houston
san Antonio (river walk & Alamo)
chorpus christi (beach)
galveston (beach)

Howdy!!

Texas born and bred. Texas proud. Born in Houston, live in Waco. I enjoy the Texas Hill Country; New Braunfels, San Marcos areas. If you get a chance, tube down the Guadalupe, or Comal.

When you visit, make sure you eat a Whataburger hamburger, and make it a point to eat some Blue Bell Ice Cream. Whataburger, and Blue Bell Ice Cream are Texas staples.

Enjoy your visit.

I live in Texas and there are so many wonderful places to visit. My personal favorite would have to be San Antonio. It is so beautiful and peaceful down by the river walk. It totally depends on what you like. There are beaches, deserts, mountains, Forrest's, big cities and small towns. Feel free to email me and I could give you suggestions on any where you want...just tell me what you like.
