Your right about that I hate California in Texas people are nicer and California is way more violent people get killed for no reason. Texas has more pride to me California is a big mess you can see by who there Governor is Arnold Schwarzenegger come on that shows how dum California is voting this idiot in to office. Plus it is way cheaper to live in Texas. The only thing better about California is the weather. |

Generally speaking, most people in each state seem to think their state is better than another state. I bet these same people whip out their balls and brag that their balls are bigger too.
Everyone is entitled to have a sense of pride concerning where they are from, but is there really any reason to boast?
Nobody really cares and the only ones who agree are those who live in the same state. |

- Cheap housing
- Good economy
- Good Asian food (mainly Houston) and Tex-Mex Food (South Texas but also Houston)
- BBQ
- No state income tax
- Austin
Texas Cons:
- Car based culture
- Weather sucks (especially during the summer)
- Rednecks (some are OK, but most aren't)
- Not much to do except eat and shop
- Cities are not walkable
California Pros
- Closer to Asia (for vacations)
- Lots of Asian food
- More environmentally friendly
- Better weather
- More outdoor activities to do.
- More parks /trails
California Cons:
- Too many loony leftists/liberals
- Government censures free speech
- Housing prices are out of control
- Too crowded
- Gas is so expensive
- Gangs
- Drugs
- Cities are not walkable |
