I have been to all of them except Hawaii. But I have been to Puerto Rico and Guam! Lots of beauty. I loved Big Sur, the Aleutian Islands, the Oregon Coast, andthe Rockies the best. I rode by bicycle 5800 miles across it in order to see and meet as many people as I could. I do not love it any more than I loved being in the Himalayas, The Bosphorus Straits, or the Norwegian Fjords. We are all one here. |

Not me - my cousins from Switzerland have seen more of the USA and the world than I have. I've been in about 20 states. |

It's mostly empty, you'd have to do more driving than it would be worth. |

i did about 30. probably 25 are rubbish, and half of most are crap, so it don't really matter. no exotic changes in culture and language like going to different countries in Europe.Just different fuel, beer, and cigarette prices. Landscape changes nicely once you are outside of middle america |

Let's see.
New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Washington, and Hawaii.
Do the Virgin Islands count? No, wait. That's a territory.
Every state is different and very, very cool. Except maybe New Jersey. Just never saw anything there memorable.
My favorite states? Washington, Alabama, Tennessee, and the Bay Area of California.
That's only 30. I guess the Northeast, Michigan, and the West are next on my list. |

I haven't, but my brother has - he had a contest with one of his college friends on who could travel to all 50 states first. My brother won by visiting me in Alaska while I was at college in Anchorage.
I've been to about 30 states now though. |

Have been to 32 states so far...all driving and must say that it is an incredible country to explore! Can't think of anything bad to say about any of them so far..the people, cultures, food, everything is so diverse even from one section of a state to another section let alone from state to state is a constant wonder. Just moved to the midwest and can't wait to nail the other 18! |
