It depends on your needs. Check out the areas North of Dallas. Plano is the typical built up American suburbia. Allen is quite picturesque - clean cut, wonderful family atmosphere. Frisco is the place to be - the suburbs with its needs brought to its door step as there is just so much to do, from shopping, to restaraunts, to sporting facilities. |

If you have to live in Dallas either suburban Mesquite or the Forest Hills section of Dallas. My father-in-law is the golf pro at the Mesquite golf and country club. |

Highland Park is extremely nice, but the homes are a bit pricey (over $1 million).

Apartment or house? And I agree... it depends on how much you are willing to spend. Plano, McKinney, Allen, I like White Rock area. |

but I would consider Austin. I hear it's really really beautifull there. |
