It depends on your needs. Check out the areas North of Dallas. Plano is the typical built up American suburbia. Allen is quite picturesque - clean cut, wonderful family atmosphere. Frisco is the place to be - the suburbs with its needs brought to its door step as there is just so much to do, from shopping, to restaraunts, to sporting facilities.

Plano and Frisco area........just north of Dallas.

Frisco is nice, Plano, The Colony, Little Elm, HEB, Carrollton, Coppell, Grapevine

If you have to live in Dallas either suburban Mesquite or the Forest Hills section of Dallas. My father-in-law is the golf pro at the Mesquite golf and country club.

cagchrisgraves
FRISCO is a nice place. It's really booming right now.

Depends on how much money you can afford to spend.

Highland Park is extremely nice, but the homes are a bit pricey (over $1 million).

It is where Dick Cheney calls home.

Billy
Anywhere north of town. I like Rockwall myself, or maybe Grapevine.

Fort Worth and Arlington are much better.

Apartment or house? And I agree... it depends on how much you are willing to spend. Plano, McKinney, Allen, I like White Rock area.

Well to be honest with you. Nowhere.

I'm only living here because there is reason for me here, but other then that, I would not live in TX period.

but I would consider Austin. I hear it's really really beautifull there.
