Throw your bag on the bed, grab some cash and head to the casino, and play the minimum bet for a while, and get a little trashed.
Then go to an awesome dinner, then go to a club, and dance the night away! |

We check out the room and usually nap for a couple hours because it's a longish flight for us and we're usually up all night the first nigh. |

go to your room, call for your bags, relax while the bellman brings the bags up, then do some unpacking, and go to dinner. |

Check out the room, find the Emergency exits, Ice machines and check out the room. I do all of this before unpacking. If there are problems with the room I call down to address the issues. I don't want to unpack if I will need to switch rooms.
Next...... START the vacation. Fix a cold drink, head to the pool. The restaurants in LV are fantastic but they stay open later then the pools.
After the pool I find a nice restaurant then cha...ching. Gamble, either BJ or slots. |

Unpack and go eat. Vegas has all the best food in the world.
My personal favorite is Spago inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. It's expensive but well worth it. |

Depends, when I would drive up from LA we would take a nap and go out around 9 or 10 and came back to the room around 6. Before I lived here I didn't do much during the morning or midday. Just do what feels right for you, all the strip and downtown area are 24/7. |

Find the nearest bar!
Vegas gets even better when you're wasted...even just a litlle:) |

The first thing I do is check out everything in the room to make sure it is working properly before settling in: tv, shower, sink, lights, ac or heat and the bed for cleanliness and comfort If they have to change your room it is better when you first get there and not unpacked. I also check out the emergency exits and check out the floor and location of ice and snack machines. This only takes a few minutes but can save you time and trouble later on. |

Because I'm in Las Vegas, you should rest for 30min-1 hour, planning what to do first! because the las vegas is pretty big! |

Find your room, make sure all keys work, try all the lights, flush the toilet, run some water in the sink and tub to make sure you have hot water and that the drains work. Try the airconditioner and/or heater and turn on all the lights, TV etc. If anything is defective call the front desk immediately to get it fixed or youself moved before you go through the bother of unpacking.
If all is well, our first activity is usually eating because airlines don't serve meals anymore and it is a six hour flight for us.

Go to your room and unpack.
Then spend 20 mins or so getting to know the hotel by reading the hotel maps and guides. Vegas hotels can be overwhelming at first, but if you spend a few mins reading the guides that are in your room, you will feel alot less overwhelmed. |
