Check out Fremont Street, especially at night. The light show is cool, and it's fun to see old Las Vegas
Ride the rides on top of the Stratosphere
Take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon
Drive out to Hoover Dam
Shows - Cirque du Soleil, Bette Midler, Penn & Teller, Danny Gans, Lance Burton, etc
Dueling pianos at NYNY (Harrah's has a great piano bar too)
Free shows - Bellagio fountains, Treasure Island pirate show, Mirage volcanos
Check out the hotels/casinos - they all have their own vibe, and it's neat to see how they've been designed.
Conservatory at Bellagio is amazing
Madamme Toussaud's wax museum
Shopping - Forum Shops at Caesars, Grand Canal Shops at Venetian, Fashion Show Mall
Gondola ride at Venetian
Eat the great food - Top of the World at Stratosphere, Paris buffet, Rio buffet, high-end steakhouses, etc
There is plenty to do - you'll have a great time. |

Vegas is very family friendly. There are museums and attractions like the Hoover Dam to visit. There are some great steakhouses, there is one where if you eat a 96 oz steak, you get it for free. There are parks and amusement areas. The strip is really no place for kids, but there are plenty of Elvis museums, and you could go to the wedding chapels and watch couples get married, or even renew your vows in a fun way. |

There is a ton, and many things are cheap or free. You can:
1) Ride the gondola and Venetian
2) Go to Madam Tussades at the Venetian
3) Ride the various rides at New York New York, or Stratosphere
4) Watch the fountain show at the Bellagio
5) Window shop at the miracle mile in Planet Hollywood.
6) Between MGM and Planet Hollywood they have some rock climbing, etc
7) Go to the flamingo habitat at Flamingo
8) Go see the Sirens fight at Treasure Island
9) Go to Mirage and see the Lion and Dolphin Habitat
10) Go see the various casinos - some are absolutely amazing!
11) Go to Freemont St. Gambling is a bit more fun - old time slots that drops coins instead of print a ticket
12)...Much much more. Look at vegas.com |

You could take a tour of the damn, they have a water park, it may be in Henderson and Not Las Vegas proper. They may have a show or two that you may like, ride the roller coaster at the top of the Stratus-fear, you could take a day just looking at the different casinos! Have a blast! |

See the light show downtown at night.
I enjoy magic shows and there are many afternoon shows that are for families so they don't have nudes or dirty jokes.
Several casinos have roller coasters if you like thrills.
Take a day trip to the Hoover Dam. |

We like to get a cabana at our pool for the day. Also, some hotels you just have to visit, the shopping at Ceasars Palace, the Venetian and the Paris, are pretty places to see. They have a cheap Improv show at Harrahs. Carrot Top is at the Luxor. They have roller coasters at NY NY, and rides at Circus Circus and a couple coasters at Stratosphere. At night you have to see the Bellagio water show (free), and Treasure Island puts on a little show as well in front of their hotel. Last time we went for a conferance we saw the "dirty Hypnosis" show....it was totally helarious! I think it's at MGM or maybe it was Planet Hollywood.
Have fun! |

Circus Circus?
Its dingy but it is really the only amusement type place on the strip. They have bungee jumping there. I went in September, just walking around and drinking in public was fun for me, but I also gambled a fair amount of the time I was there. There are a lot of shows too like every week, if you are into music check out the hard rock lineup. have fun.
You are looking for AJ Hackett Bungy Las Vegas Btw... that is the name of the place... it is right next to circus circus.
Oh and the Bellagio's fountain is pretty cool to watch, as well as the Mirage's volcano... Check them out too. And just inside some of the casino's are incredible ... my favorite was the Venetian. Once again, just have fun, it gets hot out there. |

There are many great shows in Vegas that I'm sure you would enjoy. You could go to Hoover Dam or even closer by is Red Rock Canyon. A beautiful drive through the mountains. If you wanted to go further afield there is Death Valley, but it's very hot there this time of the year. We were there last year and it peeked at 118 one day. Seigfried and Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage is well worth a visit. |
