I lived in New York most of my life, the last 6 years I live in Miami. I will never go back to the cold. I use to say I loved the season and all the changes. Life is great now. No more bundling up to go to the grocery store. Outdoors and sunshine is the best medicine.

No. I'm from Michigan and we had 4 well defined seasons. I loved summer but autumn is my absolute favorite. I now live in the S. Pacific in a sub-tropical climate and I am missing my seasons! And yes, even the snow!!! :O Here, it just doesn't seem like Christmas without cold temps. As we speak, it's only 50's during the evening but right back up into the 70's by 11 a.m. Again, it's just not Christmas without snow and cold!

Someone special
When I was a kid, I would have jumped at the chance--enjoyed hot weather then. But now I don't think I would. I am pretty sensitive to temperature extremes (whether they be hot or cold). I do like 4 distinct seasons though, and I do feel that I can dress better in winter than in hot summer. Shorts and tank tops just don't strike me as professional. I enjoy winter temps between 30-45 and summer temps above 70 but below 90.

No. I like the southern US. It is pretty close to perfect. Only the occasional Hurricane to worry about, but generally, mild winters, and in the extreme heat you still have air conditioning. Not many blizzards, tidal waves, ice storms, tornadoes or earthquakes here!

I have, and yes I did like it. you can't beat a pina colada at the pool after work.
Former St Thomas resident, now in the very snowy northeast!

No, not year round. I live in Michigan (USA) and I like to see the snow for Christmas. But since it snows here like 4 months a year, I would like to go somewhere warm for like 3 of those months!!!

gopher646
Absolutely not. I actually prefer the cold and snow. Hot weather makes me miserable.

Yes, that is why I left New York and moved to North Carolina. Little did I know that just because you are in the south does not mean you don't get winter. It snowed here yesterday, brrrr
