I think that is just the wrong age. Too young to really understand and enjoy, but plenty old enough to "punish" the grown ups when she is feeling cranky, tired, bored, or overstimulated. If you're in a position to spend a full week at WDW so that there is plenty of time for long afternoon naps or even for a "day off" from fun and excitement, it might work. But if you're buying 4 day passes and want to spend 8, 10, 12 hours at a stretch "doing Disney" then I don't think it will be a great idea. You'll be constantly choosing between torturing the baby or letting all that money you spend on tickets go to waste by cutting your days short. |

Hey, i went when i was 1 years old. My family had no hassle, or anything. I enjoyed the trip, even though i don't remember it. Get her a souvenir or something when you find one. She would love to have a toy to play with, while you are at the park. Hope This Helps!!!! |

Disney world is a wonderful place for both adults and children! I am sure she will be thrilled with the "easy stuff", like "Pinocchio", "Snowhite" and "small world" as well as the cartoons parade. On the other hand, most of the other stuff in Disney is more for grown ups, like very fast trains, "Indiana Jones", car shows etc.
To tell you the truth, the first time I visited Disney world was when I was 10 years old and when I revisited years later, I realized that I did not actually remember many things. My advice is that if you go for the fun of the day, just do it, I am sure you'll have a great time; otherwise, if you want to give your daughter a long time memory,, you'd better wait for some years for her to get older, when she will actually be able to remember and appreciate the magic of Disney world... |

Be ready to adjust your day to her. After just a couple of hours don't be surprise she is done with the park. Parents pay big bucks to go to Disney and you see them pushing the kids to have fun, because of what they paid to be there, when all the little want to do is go back to the hotel. My 5 year old had just as much fun at the resort pool with her dad as she did at the parks.
She is not going to be bored, she is going to be over stimulated. And that makes a kid cranky. Take things slow. There are playgrounds at Magic Kingdom and at Hollywood studio. Just let her play there for awhile.
Waiting in lines for rides is the worst for little kids. If you are going in the summer when it is so hot, don't do ride after ride. There will be lots she can go on. A lot of rides are dark at one point or another. This scared my 5 year old. It might a two year old too. The characters may scare her at that age. Be ready for her to cry at the sight of Mickey. The Princesses who have "normal" faces may be better for her to start with.
Take photos and put them in a book ASAP when you get home. Something she can look through. |

Just don't go in the heat of summer. The kids in strollers always look hot and miserable.
Otherwise, just be sure to get out into the parks as early as possible to avoid the crowds. By the time the parks start to really fill up, she'll be tired and ready to take a break. If you can afford it, I would recommend staying in one of the deluxe resorts so that you can get back there as quickly as possible if needed. |

it all depends on the child!
A 2 yo. should enjoy some things, like the kiddie rides, and the characters, but not some of the more enjoyable rides for adults, like splash mountain or Test track.
If you bring a stroller and a toy or two for her to play with, just in case she gets bored, it should be fine. or buy something there for her to enjoy.
Also, take lots of pictures, so that when she is older, she can look at what she experienced, because she is definitely not going to remember it when she's 2!
Good luck with you trip next year! I hope you have fun, and I hope I was some help to your question. |

I took my daughter when she was about 2 years old and she really didn't like the snow white ride. Have you thought about the Animal Kingdom theme park, If she gets too overwhelmed at the other parks you can take her there. Kids of all ages love Animals. And I can recommend the Animal Kingdom Loge for a visit even if you don't go to the park. You can look at the animals there for free.

I have been bringing our daughter since she was 4 yrs old.
I think she'll have fun as long as she doesn't get frightened by the life size characters. There are rides she can go on, shows, etc. She may not remember it much as she gets older so I have to say take alot of pictures. I hope you enjoy your vacation next year. |

Well they won't really enjoy it, but you will be able to create lots of great memories with them! Which in the end is what Disney is all about! There is something about taking your little ones and getting pictures of them with the characters, and getting a family picture on Main Street. |

To be honest, yes. I have so many friends who went to Disney World when they were between 4 and 5 and they don't remember the trip at all (now they are 20). The first time I went to Disney was when I was 12 and my youngest brother was 8. He still remembers the trip and now hes 15. I LOVE Disney and I will always love Disney. My dad is 50 years old and he's a huge Disney fan! He always talks about when he retires that he wants to move down to orlando and work part time in Disney! hahaha it's funny cause I can completely see him there!
It's best to wait til shes older. She might enjoy it when your there, but she won't remember it. Disney isn't a cheap trip so definitely plan something later! |

I'm sure she will enjoy it, but I doubt she will remember any of it. However, it will be a very enjoyable trip. |

CAN'T WAIT TO VACA
|
Most rides require the children to be a certain height but there are some that she can go on with an adult. I took my 4 yr old for her bday earlier this year and the one thing I will suggest is to use the express button. All the rides have an express button that you push and it gives you a ticket to come back at a certain time and skip the people in line. The one ride my daughter enjoyed most was the dumbo ride and my husband was in line with her for almost an hour because we didn't do the express ticket. It's hard to get young children to be still and patient in long lines, not to mention the FL heat! I would also recommend going 1st thing in the morning when the park 1st opens, it's busy but nearly as bad or hot than the afternoon. Have fun! |
