Vegas fun for 19 year old? |
I am going to Vegas this weekend with my friend. We are both 19, and female. We probably can't gamble (and we don't really want to be able to)...so what can we do? We have Friday night, Saturday the whole day, and Sunday afternoon. Then we're heading back to Cali. So what should we do! C'mon, I know you're creative...10 points are up for grabs, ya'll!! |

I am 26 and don't drink or go to clubs and I have an awesome time living here! First what you need to know is every hotel/casino is an adventure! Even though you can't gamble, there's still so much to see! Start at Mandalay Bay, and just start walking north on the strip. Stop in every hotel/casino and you'll see amazing sights, lots of shopping, and delicious food! You don't need to gamble or drink to have fun. People watching is always a blast too! If you walk the whole strip, you'll see more than most tourists and you'll truly enjoy your visit. Here's a list of free/inexpensive things on the strip:
-MGM Grand: Lion Habitat
-NYNY : rollercoaster (it's so fun!)
-Planet Hollywood: an entire mall at the Miracle Mile Shops
-Bellagio: the conservatory and of course, the fountain
-Caesars: Forum Shops
-Flamingo: Margaritaville (you don't have to order a margarita to enjoy a cheeseburger in paradise!)
-Mirage:Volcano that errupts at night
-Treasure Island: Sirens of TI (at night)
-Venetian: shopping and beautiful sights
...the list goes on! You'll be amazed of all the hidden gems you'll see that most people don't get to see because they're drunk! :-)
Hope you have lots of fun! |

This sort of question gets asked all the time, and it often gets answers recommending not to bother until you're 21.
Don't believe them. You'll have a blast choosing amongst the tons of live entertainment (shows), great shopping (Casinos, Fashion Show Mall, Outlet shopping), not to mention the free shows you get to see just standing outside the Bellagio or Treasure Island Casinos. And it's a blast just walking around and absorbing all the glitz. |

Shopping is amazing!!! Go to Ceaser's Palace Fourm Shops, Las Vegas Premium Outlets, Fashion Show Mall, and The Las Vegas Outlets ( I think that's the name of it, but it's about a mile from Mandalay bay). Go to Madam Tussans Wax Museum at the Ventian and also eat at Tao if you can! The food is amazing their! I went to Hans Klok magic show and it was really good! |

For the above comment it doesn't matter if you look 21, if you hit a jackpot you will be carded! As for everything else Vegas is awesome! Like everyone else said shopping, food, rollercoasters--we have it all in Vegas!! Many hotels have indoor pools. You could also take a drive and go to Red rock canyon, very beautiful! Hoover Dam, Spring Preserve there's tons of stuff to do here it's not all about drinking and gambling!! Have a great trip!! |

There are tons of shows to see in Las Vegas. If you've never see a circque show, see one there, they're amazing. Also, Circus Circus is an indoor theme park, you can tour the m & m factory, the ethel M chocolate factory or the hoover dam. |

Hit the spa.... I don't know where you're staying, but Venetian has THE best spa in the city, IMO. But, it's pretty much for hotel guests only.
Otherwise, shop til you drop! Bellagio, Ceasars', Wynn, and Planet Hollywood have amongst the best shopping. There's also the Fashion Show mall right next door to TI, and across from the Wynn.
Or, if you're like me and my friends, take corny photos of each other doing nutty things. There's the Crazy Girls statue outside the Riviera. My friends and I have some "creative" photos of us with that. (Anyone who's seen the statue has got to know what I mean!) |

You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.
Here is a list of free attractions

Remember to see the Bellagio fountains and Fremont street at night.

hmmm.... hang out on the strip... see all the free shows like the ones at treasure island, caesars palace, and the mirage. go to the shops in the hotels and to the fashion show mall. Since you can't legally go to a bar you are kinda stuck there. you can go to buffets get some good food, you can also go to strip clubs if you like that sort of thing. go see a comedy show hang out at the malls.... eat until you can't move, laugh at the drunks.... go to the pools if it isn't too cold hang out at the hard rock pool, and the mandalay bay pool. hmm if you don't look that young you could get away with playing the slots in a very busy casino. you really only get carded when you are going to purchase alcohol or enter a club unless you look extremely young. you get free drinks when you are gambling so if you look 21 you will have a blast... |

Besides going to shows, shopping, and laying by the pool (not open right now) there is absolutely nothing fun to do in Vegas until you are 21. |

Legalized prostitution. It's pricey but if you or your friend are into girls, it's something you can check out. I mean, it's not legal in most of the country, so this is basically your only chance. |
