It's freakin' COLD! Pack a coat, gloves, scarf. Plan on high 30s to low 40s (2 to 6 Celsius) as the highs for the day and going down to about the freezing mark at night.

This is all assuming you're coming to NYC and not another part of the state.

it's been pretty dry, but the forecast predicts rain the week that you're here. i suggest bringing an umbrella and a winter jacket.

I just got home its a bit chilly i was wearing a weather coat but its not raining or snowing

I was just there a week ago, and it's FREEZING. be prepared. look at different weather sites (yahoo, america's weather, etc.) and get the average of what it'll be like.

for me, it was actually colder than what the sites had told me, so estimate a little bit lower and pack warmer.

Cold! it will be in the 20's fahrenheit, i'm not sure how much that is celsius, but definitely below 0 degrees.

-2 to 0 degrees Celsius, 25 to 32 degrees farenheit, give or take. It might snow- if you are going to NYC, though, the snow rarely sticks because of all the traffic. Dress warm with boots u don't mind getting muddy/snowy and have fun!:)

Right now, it is 29 F and about to snow!!! I'm SOOOO EXCITED, it will be the first snow of the year. Although you picked a bad time to come, it should be raining/snowing all week. Don't worry about your flight though, the only time KEnnedy gets delays is in a blizzard or torrential downpour.

Check your weather channel.. I live in Ustate NY and I'm 5 hrs from the city. They ususally don't get a lot of snow but some and its cold and windy there, I have been there before in the winter. Have nice holidays there!

It is really cold. Make sure and bring heavy jackets, gloves, scarves, head gear, etc. It is super windy due to the tall buildings and that makes it extremely cold. Sometimes it can get feel like 0 degrees due to the wind chill. Just make sure you where lots of layers and bundle up. Other than that, I think you will have a great time! :)

My friend, it cold in NYC at the moment. Temparture in the Big Apple in from the single digits to the low teens Celsius. My advice, dress warm.

Well up near albany it is freezing out! Most days it has been sunny. In the morning there has been that cruncy frost type of stuff on the grass. Sometimes it snow a little at night.

BRING A REALLY REALLY REALLY WARM COAT. a hat, and gloves.
and bring really warm boots or at least some extra socks

in other words, it's freezing. (30-20 deg.)
it's like preparing to go to the snow/ going skiing...except you're going for a week.
