Personally I think you get more for what you pay for from Walt Disney World (WDW), rather then Universal Studios(US). Both cost $67 for one adult one day on park ticket, but at WDW you know you'll have the "magical" experience, and have people be more then willing to help you when help is needed, rather then US where you get an attitude when you ask a simple question as "Where is the closest restroom?". WDW also has things for the whole family to enjoy from Playhouse Disney (at Disney's MGM Studios) to eight clubs for nightlife entertainment at Pleasure Island (as of 1.1.07 the changed it so that you need to be 21+ to enter the clubs). Not only that but you could see everything at US in a day (two days if it's busy), but you could spend a week at WDW and not see half of what they have to offer.
Once again this is my opinion and your choice, so which ever you go with I hope you have fun!
P.S. If you decide you want the rides and not the shows/experience, I suggest trying to go to Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. |

Disney World is much better! If you are an adult you will have a blast a Disney world. I would recommend Epcot. There are many thrill rides there including Mission Space which is a total blast. :) You can also have alcohol in this park which makes it even more fun for adults. Also they have great food. Hope this helps! |

If you like roller coasters, you will like Islands of Adventure, which is right next to Universal Studios.
Personally, I prefer Disney World - they don't call it the Happiest Place on Earth for nothing!! |

Walt Disney World to me would be your better choice. |

It really all depends on your tastes.
Universal Studios may be your best bet if you're interested in roller-coaster rides and the 'theme park' venue. They have rides like the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman and 3D things to view.
Disney World - my personal choice! - would be your best bet if you're into the features it advertises (fireworks, tinkerbell flying from the top of cinderella's castle) and more creative rides. They also have things like the Animal Kingdom, etc.
Also, this site may help.

I always have and will pick Disney World. I am going in April with my wife and kids, and we can't wait (29 days as of today!) Universal has more roller coasters and thrill rides, but I can stay home and do that at Six Flags and save a ton of money. I go to Disney for the Disney experience. Stay on the grounds and go do everything they have to offer. Universal is one or two days, Disney is a whole week. I get treated like a king, the service is second to none. To me it's a no brainer. |

WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! NO CONTEST!! Of course, that's MY opinion. I love the way the cast members treat everyone and make ALL visitors feel like princesses & princes, regardless of who they are or where they may come from. The parks are EXTREMELY well maintained too - including the bathrooms! There is SO much to do for people of ALL ages - including thrill rides and shows! I get excited just thinking about going!
I've been to Universal and it's fun too, but I'm a DISNEY GIRL 4-life! |

I've been to Disneyland and to Universal in CA. I definitely think Universal Studios in Fl. would be more fun for older than children. |

I strongly recommend WALT DISNEY WORLD over Universal Studios. Here is a comparison chart I made for you of what each park has to offer:

http://www.disneyworld.com
- 4 Theme Parks
- 2 Water Parks
- 20+ Resorts
- Downtown Disney (Nightlife)
- Golf & Recreation
- Free Transportation
UNIVERSAL ORLANDO:

- 2 Theme Parks
- 3 Resorts
- Citywalk (Nightlife)

ya walt disney is where you get to meet the people dressed up like mickey n stuff universal is where they have the rides based off of the movies...in my opinion I'd rather go to universal unless you are taking a child with you or if you are big into the disney characters or something. |

WDW has much more to do & is more fun in my opinion. I went to Universal & Islands of Adventure in January & I didn't have as much fun as I do at Disney every time I go. That place just has its "magic" |

Universal is MUCH better and def. more exciting! I would only go to Disney if you have small children. Not a great deal for adults. I loved Universal. |

Universal is more fun in my opinion.
And they have plenty of fun things for little ones too. The children's area is a blast. |

WDW is mostly for kids but if you are going with your bf or your husband than Universal Studios. WDW is sort of a one time thing when you are a kid because nothing changes. i would rather go to universal studios |

i went to disneyland once, but never disneyworld. disneyworld would be a good place to go if you want to ride around in little teacups, lol. universal studios has a wider variety.
