Ford Focus. I've only ever driven/owned Fords.

My family (extended and immediate) has only ever bought from the Big 3... A lot of us work in some way for one of the Big 3. We look at it as job security, and because we like the cars we drive.

Yes, I drive a Lincoln. Is the best car I've ever owned! Would consider any vehicle but prefer to stick with American made domestic vehicles if possible.

I have a Ford Taurus. But I'd prefer a GM vehicle. But my Ford was cheap, it runs well, so I can ignore the carmaker.

Iguana
In my life I have owned 9 big 3 vehicles, 1 Dodge/Mitsibitchy ( Stratus ) and 1 Chrysler/ Renault ( Eagle ).
The Eagle and Stratus were the worst.

Mopar Muscle Gal
currently own:
GN- Buick ( made here in Pontiac, Michigan )
Superbee- Dodge
Duster- Plymouth
Mustang- Ford ( made in Michigan)
Grand Marquis- Ford

Most vehicles I ever had where made by the big three. I try to support the big three in my own way.

I currently have a Ford ranger (hoping to trade it in soon). Before that, I had a 98 Z28 Forrest green Camaro. My ex-wife sold it however while I was overseas when I was in the Marine core unfortunately before she decided she wanted a divorce. I would like to get the new 09 Camaro.

Sweet_Di
I have a 96 pontiac Grand Prix my Husband drives a 92 Pontiac Grand Prix and we are from Michigan and Proud to be a Michigander IF we had the money we would buy a brand new GM truck and Chevy trailblazer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All my vehicles are from the big three. GMC 2500, Convertible Z/28, Mustang. However none of them were made in Detroit.

Since I've had family that worked for them, and we got their "discount" (before it was popular, the "you pay what we pay"). We bought a GM minivan.

We've had nothing but problems with the car. Even though it was under warranty, they refused to fix it. The air condition broke, the engine leaked, power windows stopped working. And GM fixed NOTHING. My sister had the exact same problem with the same van. GM didn't fix anything for her either.

Not to mention the e-mail that was released that was going around the higher-ups of GM, saying they know about the problem. They still denied it.

Also, when I was purchasing the car, I told them about my discount. They car salesman said, "Oh I already took that off for you". When I said I never mentioned it, how could he have taken it off, he replied, oh I always assume people have the discount. He refused to take any more money off.

I know that was the salesman, and not GM itself, it is still a major turn off for the company.

My sister, who worked for GM, just bought a Toyota. That should tell you something.

I have a Honda van, Honda Civic, and a Toyota Corolla. Every one of those cars works perfectly.

My old Honda van had its warranty expired, and when I went back because the transmission broke, they fixed it for me.

I was born and raised in Detroit. I've seen first hand the damage the auto industry has done to this town. I would truly, like nothing more then to support this auto industry. I want to buy another GM vehicle. But I can't afford to pay for this car, and then fix it when it has nothing but problems and the "warranty doesn't cover it".

If and when GM every cleans up its act, and starts to make quality vehicles, I will without a doubt buy one.

But until then, I have to save myself headaches and money, and not buy a GM car.
