-For men there's the FBI t-shirt--looks like the real thing until you realize the FBI on the badge says "From Big Island"...
-Also, Hawaiian music is always a nice choice, especially the modern jawaiian (reggae Hawaiian)
-Macadamia nut liqueur is nice
-Wine from Volcano Winery is tempting but dreadful, unless you are from upstate New York and like the dreck they produce there...in which case, it's wonderful.
Can't go wrong, shipping pineapple (WHITE!), mangoes andpapaya. |

I would give them each 1 can/bag of Mac Nuts & 1 Puka Shell necklace. Go get them from Hilo Hattie or the Swap Meet. |

After enjoying a cool refreshing drink on the beach, fill the bottle with sand, shells, and ocean water. Take the label off, unless it is a Hawaiian brand, then it's better to leave the label on! That's what I would do, but all my friends know me as being cheap.
You could also do flip flops that say Hawaii, you know something they would actually use. |

Lei them!
Actually, you can usually find t-shirts at a decent price - according to how busy the tourist season is at the time. Not too busy, 10 shirts for 10 dollars. More busy, 10 shirts for 20 dollars. If you are on Oahu, go to the flea market and get the t-shirts even cheaper there. |

Go to Hilo Hatties, or ABC store, and there is a ton of goodies to give to your friends. The chocolate mac nut candy, is so good, or they have plenty of t-shirts. |

It depends on how much money you have to spend.....if you have a little then shell leis or keychains. If you have a lot, a pineapple each or macadamia chocolates, pure kona coffee.
There will be a lot of souvenirs type items to choose from......
have a great trip! |

I LOVE Toffee Macadima Nuts. They're made by Maua Loa and are Macs that are dipped in toffe, covered in chocolate and rolled in powdered sugar. Pure Heaven!
Other than those you can get: keychains, shot glasses, cell phone charms, t-shirts, magnets, lotions, soaps, notepads, coffee mugs, and lots of other things at any ABC store, the Aloha Swapmeet (if you're on Oahu) and many other places. |

A lava rock from Kilauea Volcanoe on Big Island. Don't worry nothing bad will happen. There's no lava goddess named Pele that will curse you. It's not a bad omen. Go on, take it! It's a great souvenir to bring back, in fact bring a wheel barrow to grab as much as you can, then give some rocks to all of your friends. |

Chocolate-covered Macademia Nuts are a common gift that tourists bring back from Hawaii to their family and friends. They're yummy and delicious! Your friends will enjoy them. Just make sure you don't bring back any volcanic rock from volcano parks. Haha ;) |
