It is bigger and thicker so it is called Texas Toast. As it is usually served hot instead of cold, it would never be called Alaska toast. Of course to truely be Texas Toast it would need to be deep fried. |

Nothing really, but cooks and cheifs use it usually for something like french toast because its thicker then regular bread. Thats the only difference I have noticed. |
