The closest I can get to this question is that I once 'messed' myself in Texas DIY.... it was a long queue and I'd had 3 boxes of figs, some ex lax and 3 bowls of prunes. They banned me from the shop for 'lowering the tone' even after I explained to them that 'I'd just done it myself'

Hi,, that is about littering on the highway in Texas... and they will give you a nice fine via ticket if they see you throw something out the car window....ect ect..

good luck

They won't do a thing if you do decide to mess with Texas, because you're a big scary giant robot!

Happy level 3 birthday - by the way!

Doesn't matter what the origin is,
People think its "cool" to wear shirts/ hats/ bags with those words on it. I find it absolutely ignorant and very "we're bad *** american" sorta of way, except no one cares for TX. They think they're the shi**, but I don't plan on visiting there anytime soon.

West Coast State & IL is good enough for me.

This was originally a "Don't Litter" ad campaign. But it suited cowboy hubris so much that its meaning has been broadened. I think we should pay Mexico to take Texas back!

yahoo2006
lol yea we dont take shi.t from anyone. and if u litter yea possible the death penalty haha. jk.

They have a big fine for littering in Texas. I assume if you mess with them, you will get fined and possibly go to jail.

It is a very funny anti-litter campaign. And, it really works. Littering has been reduced dramatically.

Don't mess with Texas is an add campaign which started several years to stop littering.

kreevich: At least the people of Texas know how to be respectful of their neighbors. Guess maybe that's foreign concept wherever you call home. Yes I do take offense when people insult my state or the people who live here.

jockychannel: Gee you aren't coming for a visit, I am so distressed by this, I just don't think I can go on.
Have we really come this far? Now it's a crime to be proud of your heritage and where you come from. Well lock me up then! I have been to almost every state in the Union, and half way around the world, and I have never seen more pride in people than what exists in Texas. It is not just a place to live, it is indeed a mindset. Please don't come to Texas, a slick west coaster like you could never understand our backwards ways, and you would just be bored anyway! After all we are a little slow here.

jockychannel, it's nice to see that you're open-minded. You criticize the state and its occupants, but you've never even been there.

As others have said, it was part of an anti-littering campaign. Get it? Don't MESS with Texas... the mess being litter. I think it's pretty clever, compared to other states' campaigns (such as "Don't lay your trash on Oklahoma"... wow, brilliant.).

You don't wanna know.
I've got a Barbie stuck in a very sore place and my gimp suit's all torn.
