What's your favorite Las Vegas hotel/casino?

I've only been to Vegas once (last year), and stayed at New York, New York. Wondering which one to hit when I go again this year?

If you have children Circus Circus is the place to go.

I've never had a problem with any of the hotels I've stayed at; Treasure Island, Luxor, Circus Circus, and Renaissance. If you are going to Vegas again, I recommend you pick a new hotel. The great thing about Vegas is experiencing new things and a new hotel is a great way to start. I've heard horror stories and praises from almost every hotel in Vegas. So take every horror story or praise with a grain of salt and go to a casino's website and see what each have to offer and go by that. Remember, you decide on whether you will have a good time and not the place you are staying at. Always make the most of it.

my fav is the red rock casino. it's beautiful, away from all the traffic, in a great area, has everything you need, and a veiw of the mountains. or the strip, you get to choose.

My favorite is the Paris because they gave me two night's free room this past year. Buffet was great. Eiffel tower was worth it as a 2 for 1 special for guests.

Everyone that's answered has only mentioned casinos on the strip, but I think you really sell yourself short if you don't venture to downtown Las Vegas. My first three trips to Las Vegas I stayed at the Luxor, the fourth time at the MGM Grand. The fifth time I decided to do something different and stayed at the Golden Nugget downtown. That was 7 years ago and I've never stayed on the strip again (the Golden Nugget has become my home-away-from-home, and I've been witness to its recent transformation).

For more of a feel of what the old Las Vegas used to be, as well as MUCH more personable and attentive casino personnel, downtown Las Vegas is the place to be. I still venture to the strip for shows, to eat, etc but as far as gambling and hotel accomodations I'd never consider staying anywhere else.

We stayed at The Excaliber...but, it is not as nice as some of the others on the strip. Next time I would like to stay at Bellagio.

I've been 3x and my favorite hotel i've stayed at is the Palms because it's nice and I met a couple of celebrities there. They also have good resturants and a movie theater.

It's not on the strip, in fact it is in Henderson. Fiesta Henderson is great!!!

caesars palace is the best. every time people visit i recommend they stay there and use http://www.travelcusehotels.com to book their stay. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck

I've stayed at more than a dozen properties in Vegas and my favorites are NYNY, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and the Hard Rock. I do not recommend Excalibur, Riviera, or Tropicana. I'm so-so on the Mirage and TI.
