go to your aaa.com and become a member if that is not too expensive for you and get discounted tickets for amusement parks, zoos, and water parks depending where you live I got a
$1200 buck vacation for two adults and two kids for $400.
there are also tons of vacation bible schools that you can put your kids in in the am 9-12 or the evening 6:30 -8:30 for a little "me " time so the kids don't drive you crazy three weeks before school starts also some of these churches offer a free meal for the kids before the sessions starts. depending on where you live the salvation army has family stuff to do like going to an Cleveland Indians game or a reading enrichment class for kids and even a free summer camp. have fun |

*Go to a pet store and let the kids look around.
*If your a teacher on Thursday's, it buy 1 combo get 1 combo free. You can let the kids play while you eat.
*Go to the redbox and rent a movie for 1.00
*Use any free coupons you have.
*Bake rice crispy treats, oreo treats, make ice cream floats.
*I also take the kids window shopping. It's different for every child. If you go pack some snacks or drinks.
*The library is also good. If your children are between the ages of 5-6 they love blocks!
*Go to yard sales and get the kids some toys they maybe intrested in . Go alone, it 's too hot for the kids.
*If you have a computer, they love computer games!
* check the websites for arts *crafts and coloring
* Take pictures or make your own video. Kids love that!
Good luck! These seem to be working well for me |
