Check out the Shakespeare festival! They're performing Julius Caesar every night (except Tuesdays) at 8pm in Forest Park until June 8th. Pre-show entertainment starts at 6:30pm, and it's free. I've been going every year several times a year since 2001 and it's great. |

Shaw's Garden is the best. The Gateway Arch is spectacular also. |

I agree... the zoo is really awesome. The arch as well. Union Station was interesting as well. There is a Hard Rock Cafe in Union Station. My family and I didn't even get to eat there... we just went in and looked around and paid a visit to the gift shop, gotta have that Hard Rock Cafe St. Louis t-shirt. lol
I wouldn't suggest a summer visit though... we were at the zoo when it was 108 degrees outside... we spent a lot of time in the COOL penguin house (except you come out smelling like fish). lol |

Go down into the Soulard district to see the origins of St. Louis. Now mostly renovated as a gaslamp district, it is full of really terrific architecture, antique shops, book stores, restaurants, etc. And Soulard Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings is terrific, especially the spice shop. We forget sometimes that St. Louis has French roots, and parts of Soulard are as french as the French Quarter of New Orleans. |

You could make a whole day just at Forest Park with the zoo and all the museums. Outside of the parking lot at the zoo almost everything is free. Bring lots of film or a big memory card |

The St. Louis Zoo is very nice. Also, there is the Arch, Six Flags, Science Center, Forest Park has a nice museum, or the City Museum is nice.
The Magic House is for little kids 7 and under I'd say. Not for adults. Also, the new Busch Stadium would be cool. |

You can go to the Gateway Arch, or go to a nonfunctional rail station that has been transformed into and indoor mall called St. Louis Union Station! International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame, visit the Soulard, go to Forest Park which is bigger than New York's Central Park and go to the St. Louis Zoo located in Forest Park! You can also visit the Busch Stadium! I hope this info. helped out some! |

It may be out of your way a little, but it's worth it to go to the hay swings...they don't open until like 7 pm, but it's sooooo fun. they also have paintball and other random activities, but who wouldn't want to get strapped into a sling and jump off a really high platform????

A lot of good places but here are two you can't miss. #1 Dago Hill (near Forrest Park). They have the best collection of Italian Restaurants in the Midwest. #2 The Brewery. Best part are the free samples....
