What are the best shows in vegas, how good is the luxor, fav restaurant's in vegas ?

Just got back from Vegas-1st time visitor. We stayed at the Treasure Island which was great if only for the reason you didn't have to walk 10 miles to get to your room elevators like in all the other hotels. We went to the Luxor on the last day of our visit and it was a disappointment after seeing some of the other hotels. We did sneak up an "inclinator" -their sideways elevators and look into some of the rooms that housekeepers were making up. The rooms didn't look bad, just kind of dated. We ate the Wynn breakfast buffett which was okay. It did have awesome desserts though! I would recommend eating a buffett at Bellagio. From what I've heard, it's a treat. The buffett at Treasure Island was good. We ate there for dinner and had the best eggs benedict ever. As far as shows, we saw Howie Mandel's standup. Both he and his opening act, John Mendoza, were hilarious. I had to wipe my makeup off because I was laughing so hard I was crying. We also got to see Penn & Teller. They were amazing! I still don't understand how they did some of those things right in front of us. And after the show they came out to meet the crowd and took pictures with people. Last tip: Don't try walking everywhere. Everything looks really close together until you start walking it. From TI to the Wynn, which are across the street corner from each other, it took about 15 minutes to walk! Hope this was helpful!

Don't forget to check the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino. Very impressive. There are restaurants for every taste. Check out the giant aquarium. There is a wave pool in the back of the hotel.

Check out a magic show, and the Treasure Island is a nice place to eat. HAVE FUN, don't lose too much money

Zumanity by Cirque de Sole is good at the NY NY Hotel. Lance Burton (magician) is great at the Monte Carlo Hotel. The luxor is great, but overcrowded. At least that's what i've heard.

Cirque da solei is great and always has more than one show in Vegas. O is great at Bellagio as well as Mystique at Treasure Island. Blue Man Group at Luxor is worth the money.

For restaurants, try the Rio buffet, Capital Grill at Fashion Show Mall, Grand Lux at Venetian, Pink Taco at Hard Rock, Bellagio has a great Japanese Steakhouse and Mandalay Bay has GREAT restaurants!

Anything by Cirque DE Soeil is great. I saw Zumanities at NY NY and Mystere at TI- both great! There are so many great restaurants in Vegas it's hard to name one. The Samba Grill is awesome, it's in the Mirage. It's a Brazilian Rodezio and I have been there several times. I've been to Vegas nine times and never get tired of it. Every time is like the first time because theres always something new to see and do. I think the Luxor is just average. I never stayed there but I know people who did and werent impressed. The Mirage, Treasure Island and Ceasars Palace are all great.

Depends on the price you want to pay. There are a ton of great shows here in Vegas. If you're on a budget, there is the Bellagio fountains, Sirens at TI (Treasure Island), and the Volcano, all of which are free. I agree with the person who said don't try and walk the strip all in one day. As far as restaurant's are concerned it's on what you want to pay. A local favorite buffet is at the Rio Suite Hotel & Casino, which is located just off of the strip. Be there early though, the place gets packed. Have a wonderful time!

The Luxor is an amazing hotel. I stayed there bout two yrs ago. They have an awesome pool, excellent buffet (Pharoahs Feast I think) and a movie theater inside. If you r looking for a show to see go c the Blue Man group which often shows at the Luxor. They are unique and well worth the higher priced ticket.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL IS AMAZING TOO- THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER EVER EVER SEEN! DO THIS BEFORE U DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!!

Go see the Cirque Du Soleil show called KA. Trust me it is an experience you will never forget
