OK, seriously, the museum of modern art, as many broadway musicals as you can get to, and turkish food.

If you go in summer, you should go to Governors Island.
Governors Island is new national park island in Upper New York Bay.
There's free ferry goes from Slip 7 adjacement to Staten Island Ferry building.

It only opens on Weekend.
On weekdays, only two days are with TOURIST guide only access.

Also, Big Taxi Tours which is open-roof double decker bus and it is cheap than either Grayline or CitySight New York.
It only cost $25.
I not sure if Uptown Loop is operating yet.
Also, in Summer, if you like to get wet, take ride on New York Splash Tour. It is similar to Duck Tour in Boston and Philadelphia.

Another best place to do in New York, especially during Summer, go to Playland Amusement Park in Rye, New York.
MTA Metro-North and MTA Long Island Railroad give One Day Giveaway if you go from NYC.

Also, Metropolitan Museum of Art just reopen new 19-20th St Century Painting & Sculptures Galleries on 2nd Floor;
New Greek & Roman Galleries, French Decoration in European Scuplture Garden on 1st floor.
In summer, there will be rotating special exhibition on Roof Garden.
If you like old train or bus, New York City Transit Museum in Downtown Brooklyn is also best to visit.

im 18 years old and i tell ya i still cant believe i live in the best city in the world.you can go to sea port,statue of liberty,TRL(if u get tickets online which is for free),you can go to manhattan which is packed but the funnest. you can eat at chex mex located in new jersey,my house(lol jokn),theres a parade on this tuesday in manhattan but foegot where in manhattan for the superbowl giants parade and the giants team will be there. i can go on and on and on with this babe.

The wax museum, bus tour of Manhattan, a Broadway show, dine in a diferent restaurant every day, The Bronx zoo, The NYC aquarium, Shopping on 34th street, Museum of Natural history (need 2 days for this big boy), Museum of art, so many things so little time!!!!!
