What are the people like in Houston?

Houston has the full gamut of people and cultures.
Warm and friendly people up until the point where you hit my dog, cut me off on the freeway or insult Texas - then the gloves come off.

Just to give you an idea. My eye Dr. is Korean, my friends are Christians, Jewish and non-denomination types. Neighbors are Anglo, Japanese, Iranian (funny guy), Vietnamese, German, Dutch, Brits and a few Texas Ranchers.

It's amazing how many different nationalities are here and how many friends you can make here from different backgrounds. Gives one a unique perspective about news reports of other countries when you have friends that have families that live in those countries.

ummmmmmm, probably like any other city. i don't think specific cities have people completelyyyy different than the rest of the country.

I'm 16, and i've lived in Houston my whole life. I would imagine the people there are like anywhere else. There's gonna be all kinds of people everywhere you go. This is beside the fact that Houston in overrun by illegal immigrants here to mooch off our country's benefits.

They're generally friendly close to each other. They are also generally accepting of different cultures, since Houston is a metropolis.
Chopped and screwed music is most popular in this city.

I live in Dallas,and have to go the Houston every now and than, people out there are well just like your home town,yes there are good and there are who cares guys like any town in USA, though I might add that yet in the last 10 yrs of up and down I did not meet any bad experience, But than I maybe lucky or easy going or easy to adopt person,what about you ?

Well, im sure our traffic is just as bad as any other city, but we do say "Ya'll" alot. Im hispanic and texan and i really dont even know how to avoid saying that. But we are some nice folks and most of us do not have country accents.

They are probably the same where you live...don't think that just because you go to another city people are going to be different...it's a fast growing city and not all people are mean like they say...

Just typical Texans I guess. Loud, obnoxiuos, rude, and inconsiderate. I get real tired of the YA IM FROM TEXAS thing. Ya ok your from a state with the most executions and a state known for cowboys and cows and.........well....... not much else.
