nyc is fantastic, wash dc is great, santa monica is sweet, dallas is fun, boston is a great visit too, but seattle has a lot going on!

The Outer Banks of North Carolina are so beautiful! There is a lot to do from water sports to just laying on the beach. There are miles and miles of sandy beaches and lots of different places to stay. There are a million cool little places to shop and we especially loved Nags Head Hammocks...could stay there indefinately!!! ; ) There are also tons of awesome kite shops.....here are a few websites:

Frisco is great also--good eats
Windchester Bay, Oregon isn't a major city but a cool place to go right along the ocean.

Santa Rosa, CA because I've got family there and at least know my way around.

They're not exactly cities, but:

Alpine, AZ and Hayward, WI. They're small towns with plenty of ways to enjoy nature. I hate the chaos of big cities, I'm stuck in one right now.

Every City has its own atmosphere and karma....id say visit as many as you can...But i agree with Dude get to California and work your way up the coast line....apsolutely beautiful
