go to tempe town lake. it is really fun there, and go to ASU campus right near there.there are sometimes festivals going on at the lake. you could also go to the chinese cultural center.

also go on a hike in the superstitions or somewhere where you can enjoy the natural beauty of it here.

to be honest, there isn't really in AZ that is free...

don't go to rawhide, kinda stupid now.

you could go to castle and coasters. that place is OK...

just enjoy the natural beauty of the place. those things are free, and it is what makes arizona pretty.

check the Rep (part of the newspaper). They have listings of everything happening in town for the next month or so. It always has prices and the like also. I know there are costs associated with them, but you can always got to the Science Museum or the Phoenix Art Museum.

Try checking out one of these two towns. They are in opposite directions of each other, but are really full of artists.

When I visited Phoenix I went to some of the ritzy hotels and toured the lobby and grounds and anywhere else I could get without actually being a guest. There are some really awesome hotels there and I really enjoyed that.
