I hate to say it, but "crime and hurricanes" is what I think of.
But if I were marketing, i would talk about the spicy diversity in the cuban south, the laid back island culture of the keys, the "affordable" gulf coast resorts, and the unmatched entertainment around orlando. |

Hey, I live in Florida, and there are already plenty of tourists AND residents here. If you must continue to market Florida to the country, although I think most people KNOW it's here, please just remind visitors NOT to come here and drive like jerks and then shoot us the bird when they cut us off in traffic. Those of us who live here are NOT on vacation, and have schedules to keep and do not appreciate being nearly killed and then insulted by tourists while on our way to work and school.
