Skechers has some nice shoes.
Here's a link to them at Kohls:

I would go with Sneakers and forget about what others think....your feet will love you! Enjoy your trip. |

my suggestion is don't wear skirts and dresses. disney world is more of a shorts and t-shirts kind of place. you shouold be wearing sneakers to support your feet cuz you will be walking all day every day.
if you insist on wearing skirts and dresses then buy the "earthshoe" brand their sandals are quite supportive and cushiony.
never wear flip flops to disney world parks. they are just what they are called "flippy and flppy" they don't support your feet so at the end of the day you will be regreting wearing them and they leave your feet wide open to get stepped on and rolled over. (which happens a lot at disney) |

If sneakers are the most comfortable thing for you feet...wear them and don't worry about what others think. Trust me...I've seen people wearing things at Disney that I would consider far more "weird" than a dress/skirt with sneakers! The main thing is to be comfortable AND to be sure that you are being kind to your feet, knees, legs and back. You will be on your feet and walking a lot and if you don't wear shoes that provide you with enough support you will seriously regret it after a day or two. |

I would never wear flip flops to a place like that. They can tear up your feet. I wore my Vans slip ons and sneaker styles. They were very comfortable and didn't hurt my feet. I also would never suggest those crocs. They are made from molded plastic. They have no cushion whatsoever, and I have heard doctors say they are not good to wear all the time like a lot of people are doing.
Don't worry about looking weird. Just get some nice sneaker style shoes. Wear those socks that don't show above the shoe. |

I wear skirts and dresses only at Disney. I have some FUBU white sneakers and another pair of darker sneakers. I also take some sandles in case I need to "dress" it up for something. Just remember you need to be comfortable not cute...LOL. You need to change your shoes every other day too. This will help with your feet being soar and the adjustment to standing in long lines. |

Columbia and Rocket Dog make great sandals. But, I highly recommend wearing gym shoes. Disney World is A LOT of walking and your feet will be happy to have the extra support. In addition to that your tootsies are more likely to be smashed, stepped on, and even burned from the sun and pavement if you wear sandals.
Unless there is a major reason for having to wear dresses/skirts like you are Pentecostal, or something, wear shorts, jeans, lounge pants, athletic shorts, bermuda shorts, whatever you are comfortable in.
As long as you are comfortable that is all that matters. If you are wearing skirts/dresses I would still wear gym shoes. I promise, the people at Disney are not there to set new fashion statements... they are there to relax and enjoy themselves. |

I wear skirts & sundresses to Disney World too, and I also feel weird pairing them up with sneakers. I also would never wear mine with crocs, no matter how comfortable they are. They look worse with dresses than sneakers do.
My solution is to invest in a pair of Ugg flip flops. They are not as expensive as Ugg boots, and they last forever. The best part is that they are lined where you normally would get blisters, so it's virtually impossible to get blisters. Plus, you can get them in various colors that will match your dresses.
Check out this link, and scroll to the Tasmina. They are the best!

Don't wear anything new - wear whatever you're comfortable in as you'll be on your feet and walking a LOT!! Even if you don't wear trainers, take something you KNOW you'll be comfortable in, as the last thing you want to do is end up with sore feet the first time you go out - you won't want to go anywhere else!!
Have a great time! |

I wear 'walking sandals" or "sport sandals". There are also some cute "mary jane' style walking shoes or sneakers that would also work well.
Shop around for sandals and flats that have a decent sole, and are nice and cushy.
Brands that I've worn and liked: Teva, Columbia, Clarks, Bass, North Face, Naturalizer, Soft Spot, Easy Spirit, etc. |

i dont like flip flops i hate the feeling off them hitting my feet so i bought ones that had a strap around the back as well. i wore these nearly every day of my two week holiday. you can get ones that have a foam sole so they are incredibly comfortable. |

Maybe some gladiator sandals. The name sounds weird but that look quite nice with skirts. (Well, I think so.)
You could also try some thongs... not just average flip flops but some pretty ones. |

When I went to Disney World last summer, EVERYONE (kids, teens, young adults, adults, and the elderly...men and woman) were all wearing Crocs. I've never worn them, but it seems if they don't quite match...it doesn't matter. Disney even sells them with Disney attachments. I've heard they were good for your feet, let you walk around comfortably, and you are bound to fit into the mix. Especially, if Disney still sells them. They aren't a closed "shoe"...but they aren't open either. They are perfect for water rides and the rain.
I wore flip flops for over a week in Disney. I don't advise it, my feet hurt by day 2.
Sneakers aren't the best thing to wear in the parks...Especially, if you go on water rides or it rains. Plus, whenever I wore sneakers in Florida...my feet got so hot and I got uncomfortable real fast. I guess look for some kind of sandal that's comfy and won't hurt your feet...Crocs are my best advice. Good Luck and Have a Great Time. =) |
