I spent that much time on a bus daily to go to and from school for 3 of 4 years, we enjoyed sleeping or playing Euchre, listening to music or something along that line. Hope you have a good ride! |

Take a journal and write about your trip. What you see on the way, the people around you, your feelings on taking the trip.
Listen to some music, but not so much that you ignore your seatmate.
Take a small map so you can follow your progress. You can get one from an on-line map site. |

Wear something warm. Those yellow buses don't usually have air conditioning or effective heaters. Healthy food to munch on. Bring a newspaper to read. If you like crossword puzzles or sudoko, bring those type magazines to occupy your time. Sit next to a good friend.
If you are going to someplace new, sit near the window and watch whatever passes by. |
