We are a ''come as you are'' city, although it's still going to be chilly in March, so dress real warm! See you soon! |

Things not to wear if you don't want to look like a tourist:
sneakers
jeans (especially jean-shorts)
fanny pack
a camera around your neck
Urban dress will allow you to blend in.
Darker colors seem to be favorable in Manhattan |

Just wear the usual clothing you use. That will show how and who you are.
Good luck to you |

Anything or nothing will be fine. Just don't walk around with a subway map. Very tourist-y |

Just wear what you like. Anything you would wear on a normal school day. Trust me, that's what everyone does. |

a light jacket... (with a light scarf to make it fashionable, if youre a girl that is.) or anything that is comfy... and oh, good shoes! trust me. make sure you bring umbrella too! march is spring season in here. (wet season) and people dont care if you look like a tourist or not... they dont care and besides there's too much tourist around to judge what people wear... |

Don't wear a T-shirt that says, "I Love New York" or have a bag strapped around your shoulder. Also, a lot of tourists wear khakis. Maybe you should avoid that as well.
And also, don't look around too much. Most tourists stare at the skyscrapers for like hours and when they get to Times Square, their jaw just drops open and they start talking like crazy. |
