I always think those surveys are so stupid because how does the person or group do them in the first place, and how do they know what i find to be attractive? every city has good looking people disregard those dumb surveys.

I'm not real sure but its hard to find an "ugly" face on capitol hill. Just duck your head into any congressman's office, you won't see old women hard at work, you see buxom 20ish ladies in very tight skirts. No wonder why nothing ever gets done in DC.

I think that survey was about women, not people generally. I've been all over, and DC population is pretty much average in my opinion. If you want some really good lookin' women, try NYC, Miami, Dallas, LA. Of course, those are all big places. A mid-sized city that's a real sleeper for beauty is Midland, TX. Just walk around downtown at lunchtime during the week, and you won't believe it.

On the other hand, the homeliest women in the world live in Minneapolis. OMG, it's almost unbelievable. Sorry, but that's a fact, Jack.

Ive seen plenty of attractive people in DC... atleast your city is not like Philly with the really unattractive, people lol. Good luck.

i think it has to do with different areas i am in the south (atlanta) and there are so many pretty people that when i went to dc and alexandria i thought whoa were are the pretty people ther were some but not as abundant as here

I was BORN in the middle of DC and lived in Alexandria most of my life and have been back to DC on many occasions -- I'm not even afraid to drive in DC - ha ha.....there are a lot of intelligent, well dressed, good looking people there (especially the ones BORN there - ha ha).....

I've never been to DC, but that is just silly. Why would someone be more attractive somewhere else. I just don't get society. People are just stupid. Let me tell you something. I've got a friend from dc named Andrew, and he is smokin!

I think what the survey said is it was asking to vote on attractiveness not unattractiveness. They're not saying you're ugly... just that you're not pretty aka attractive

i think DC has a mix of people, a mix of attractiveness, like every other city.

I lived in DC for 7 years and several other major cities in the US. I believe not only does DC have some of the most attractive women but overall the city has by far the most intelligent people.

It's not like they did a scientific survey, check out the article, it was some online poll that doesnt really mean anything.

That survey is you-know-what. It's insane! How can anyone generalize people by location?! Or in any way at all! I mean, everyone finds different kinds of people attractive, and people who agree with the survey are simply blind. Because of appearance, because we all have eyes and a brain to interpret what they see; it's really sad. I mean, Being attractive should only be based on what's within. Of course, I don't blame anyone. What you see comes first, usually. In any case, Washington D.C.?! I mean, do people know how large it is, compared to us--the little people!? So, what if I drag all the super models and celebrities there? What will they say now?! So then I can even say that NO ONE on Earth is attractive! How's that? It wouldn't mean anything would it? Who cares?!

Huh? In the USA TODAY it said Philadelphia. DC used to be known as a murder capital. New Orleans bested that as well.

I love D.C!! Every time I return from my trips up there I have to see my Doctor so he can get my neck back in its normal position
