Just Asking. :)

I like less infrastructure, more wilderness, less traffic, less pollution and a close knit community where people look out for one another.

Friendlier! Less gas to drive to work! Less people, people will actually stop and help another person cause they care!!!! Better teachers, less crime, better place to raise your kids, not as far to go fishing and hunting! It's just a short drive to the big town to shop, but you don't have to put up with the other negatives!!!!

Cloudcity CC
I like the fact that I am employed by one.

Everything is better about small towns except for the entertainment (night life). You have to go to a nearby city for that.

"Your Name" on my *SS
i live in a little town
pros- not much noise disturbance
cons-NOTHING TO DO! all people do here is drink for fun otherwise there is absolutely nothing to do!

ilovecoach
I love how you get to know mostly everyone in your town. It's a cute environment. But I'm a city girl at heart haha.

Hate little towns!! You cant pee and people not know whats going on with you bathroom habits!!! And there is nothing to do in them!! I hate um!!

JoKeReSs
I love little towns, because they are near enough untouched architecture wise.
I love old buildings, such as manours, castles etc.... And because there is no tourist attraction, or such a big city then they have no reason for big modern buildings.

The Princess
No crime, traffic, or pollution. And even better, the cost of housing and living in general is sooo much more affordable than in big metropolitan areas!

i live in a teeny tiny townof Ohio, there are a total of 3,500 residents. & we only have one red light in the whole town! EVERYBODY knows everybody, seriously.. 3,500 may seem like alot but its not & about 2,500 of them live on the outskirts of the town almost considered in glenmore, our town neighbor lol. but this is a very very poor town & area.. theres no jobs.. we have a rite aid, kwik king, save a lot & a BP. thats it no lie. to go to like a walmart we have to go two towns over & to a mall, we have to travel about an hour. graduating kids are moving far away so there kids dont have to grow up like they did. i graduate in 2 years, & most definatly moving. unless you want to work @ kwik king, rite aid save a lot or BP u HAVE to. it gets ver depressing & older people of the town are trying to get youngins to stay because in about 6 years, there probably be only 1000 people!

I live in a tiny rural town of 1500.
I LIKE:
my kids being able to play until dark, because everyone knows everyone else and watches out for each others' kids.

No city noises ( freeway, sirens, car alarms, domestic disputes, loud music)

Neighbors bringing meals, babysitting, etc if there is a family crisis

I DISLIKE:
Everyone knowing your business, whether it's common knowledge or not

being so far away from work, a hospital ,Wal*mart, pharmacy, etc. ( fifty miles to the nearest city)

Getting snowed in until the snow plows feel the urge to scrape off the highway

I grew up in a big city, so I like visiting small towns because it is so different from what I am used to. I enjoy the friendliness and the "antiquity" of the buildings. My only gripe is that I feel like I don't belong because I dress too stylish and move at a faster pace than the smaller town. I enjoy a visit, but am not sure I would be able to live in a small town because I would get bored and I love to visit new neighborhoods, bars, and restaurants.
