I think the quality of their animated film has gone down. I'm sick of all this 3D pixar style, and even their recent 2D movies are disappointing. I wish they would go back to making masterpieces like "Aladdin," "Pocahontas," and "The Lion King," - from the Katzenburg era. |

I loved it, Just come back from a months holiday out there with my 4 kids and we had a really good time.
This was my first time to DisneyWorld and i have to say i would go back there again, infact i have already started saving to go again.
The kids loved everything, from the rides, Character greetings & Parades. And the Night time Parade & Fireworks are out of this world,
The whole experience was just great, and i recommend it to anyone. |

I love it!!!
I have been there many times since I was a kid and in 2 weeks I'll be there with my step daughter!! She and I are very excited to go-although her father is not as thrilled.
It is a very expensive trip, and sometimes the employees are not my favorite people, and the crowds-well thats a whole nother topic. But I enjoy it there very much! |

Disney should have a quota of how many people get in. it gets soooo crowded, you cant walk without bumping into someone. Standing 3 or more hours in line is ridiculous. |

It is such a special place. I love it so much! I went practically every year as a kid and have been twice as an adult. My fiancee loved it so much, when we got back from our first trip there together he told me how much he wanted kids and proposed! That was last October and we are expecting our first baby in December and planning our wedding at Disneys wedding pavillion for 2009. I can not wait! I also cant wait to take my kids, we dont have much money but we are saving now as much as possible so we can take our children to our favourite and special place. |

Well, the employees of disney thought and still think he was a megalomaniac and that the corporation is riddeled with paranoia and distrust. But thats big corporations for you. You that level of fame by not being a decent person. |

I think he was a true genius. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he planned everything out perfectly from the time he started his company so that he could be guaranteed that it would continue long after he died. All of his movies are filled with passion and beauty, but he also appreciated family and having fun. When he built Disneyland, he used to play in it during the off hours, to show that even though he began such a massive corporation, he was still a kid at heart. He's my hero. |

I think the old films are better. Now its just a big coporation that forgets the first dream of Walt Disney was.
Disney starting to copycats and no originality. For instance, Chronicles of Narnia. Copied Harry Potter, because some excutive on top dismiss Harry potter into a movie. Now we see Underdog, omg what happened to creativity and originality.
Disney employee's, well not the brightest people anymore. Depending on senority now, you can get high position, so you can get the dumbest guy to be running Disney because he kiss up and has senority. Staff are underpayed and overworked, because expendible. Which hires more idiocy within the company.
Now starting to get high crime rate. What you expect when you have so many diversity gather into one place and with lots and lots of money. Something bond to happen.
Everything so expensive, lines are long, credit cards don't work, food taste bad because tryin to go healthy.
They made 4 more parks, yet all of them the same. Why not change it up.??? Disneyland Paris? Disneyland Toyko?? Disneyland Hong Kong?? Disneyland California?? Nothing changed. No more originalities, just another Universal Studio's
Ehhh!! I once believed and loved Disney but when you seen so much. Its bad. |

I think Walt Disney was a visionary who created something unique and wonderful. He was a Boy Scout and he loved children and wanted to make people happy. That said, nobody's perfect and maybe the corporation has done some questionable and downright stupid things in recent years.
I love Disneyland. I think the people who work there love what they're doing, which is making people's fantasy vacations a reality. I've been to Disneyland many times - as a child, as an adult with my husband and as a family with our kids. I even got a glimpse of the backstage workings when I went to a media event. My dad and his wife went with us last year and were just like a couple of kids. I don't think you get too old to love Disneyland. It's a different experience every time you go and however old you are you're making magical memories.
California Adventure has potential. It has fun rides and activities but hasn't quite achieved the same level of Disney Magic.
I think Disney movies have their ups and downs. We really enjoyed Ratatouille, Cars, and the Toy Story movies. My kids weren't that interested in Brother Bear or the sequel or the Pocahontas movies (course they're boys and not into the princess stuff). We all have mixed feelings about the Pirates movies but really loved National Treasure and most of the movies that have come out of Disney/Pixar. As a child I loved all the princess movies, the Apple Dumpling Gang, the Shaggy Dog and so on. The remakes are getting a little old and seem to indicate a lapse in creative thinking and originality.
Disney is also a great place to start as a child actor, although they should probably be more supportive of them as they grow up so they don't have problems like Lindsay Lohan and others. My kids watch Disney Channel all the time and I'm very impressed with the talent I see there.
If you look at the Disney corporation it's probably not that different from other corporations. Not everyone is happy with their jobs, not everything runs as smoothly as it could, etc. But if you look at the art, entertainment, new technology and children's smiles that come out of that, I'd have to say it's a pretty good thing. |

I could not possibly answer without getting a violation, but I will say that my daughter was bored witless with the trite amusement parks in Olando within a couple of days of going there. Much better to experience the real world than a plastic sanitised version put on by Disney. I know it is not Disney but is synonymous, but the version of Tutenkhamen's tomb in Busch gardens bears no resemblance to the real thing and only cons Americans, a lot of whom do not travel outside their own country. |
