New York is the best,
its the best state in the United States.

i live there.its so cool.
especially in Manhattan at night,in times square.

some parts of the Bronx sucks,because of the gangs and the streets are dirty.and some part of Brooklyn and Queens.and even in Manhattan.but its still cool.

i wish i lived in Manhattan,the streets are clean,there is no noise,no gangs and no bad people.but the buildings in there and the houses are expensive.

I think the people are hilarious, the average New Yorker has an opinion about everything and isn't afraid to tell you.

Personally, I love New York. It is the center of fashion and have many cool events like the Macy's Day Parade and the Ball Drop that you can attend. Some people, though, do not enjoy the urban life, and love countryside more. For example, my older sister thinks that NYC is very poluted, but likes going to the forests, lakes, and mountains located in Germany. I agree with her that the countryside is very beautiful, but I like both equally.

Was there for about a week last summer. It was fun to see all the buildings you see in the movies. It has always been one of those places I wanted to visit at least once. I sure as heck wouldn't want to live there...too expensive and congested. I like to have my own car to come and go and my house with a back yard where my future kids can play. Everyone should visit there to see the World Trade Center site to get a feel of what is was like that day down there and the Statue of Liberty

New York City is one of my favorite places on the planet earth. The only bad thing is that it's crowded and it gets very cold in the winter. There are alot of very great things about it, too. I would just google it and hope you find some info.

New York City is amazing and like no other place on earth! about 15 years ago it was going down the tubes.. the famous broadway was all strip bars and prostitutes..
Rudi Guiliani took charge and cleaned it up.. He doubled the amount of police on the beat at any given time.. I feel extremely safe there now.. It is a city that never sleeps.. constantly something to do, something to see.. Places to go.. and just alive and humming!
I love it.. don't know that I would want to ever live there, but it has crossed my mind..
People are afraid of it because of T.V. shows.. but it is not that way.. I go every year at Christmas and we skate at Rockefeller Center.. see the Rockettes.. I actually had a date once with a guy who lived in New York and we met on top of the Empire State Building before dinner! it was soo kewl!

I've been to New York 8 times and it is really interesting to see everything, but to be so beautiful at night because of the lights in the buildings, it is so dirty and filthy during the day. The pigeons are all over the sidewalks, the sidewalks are dirty, the vendors are on every corner, horns blowing 24/7, amublance sirens going non stop. But the buildings are breath taking beautiful. My favorite is St. Patricks Cathedral. It's the most beautiful building anywhere. The skyline is gorgeous at night and the people are actually quite nice. It is shoulder to shoulder on every sidewalk all the time. All the stores are great. You need to bring plenty of money, because it is really high in prices there. Central Park is beautiful, all Trumps buildings are beautiful. It would be great for everyone to see NY at least once in their life time. I highly recommend it!
By the way, thanks for the pictures. They are very nice!

From pictures, I thought I'd love it.

I went two summers ago, and I hated it. (before anybody gives me a thumbs down, let me explain)

I'm from the midwest, so I'm used to everything being open and friendly.
In Manhattan, I was so disappointed not to see any green space outside of central park. There were people everywhere, but I still felt like if I wasn't with a group of friends, I could feel completely alone.
Stores and sky-high buildings are just everywhere, and I thought I'd be okay with that, but it just wasn't working for me.
I loved the broadway show I saw though. And chinatown was pretty awesome.

Great place to visit. Great place to live for some people, but not for me.

but its like a walking human made science fair
its an amazing city
i live near there and been there few times.
it isz lik egypt back in the days
represents how far humans have come in building a civilization.
it isnt beautiful but its amazing
its always cool to see such famous landmarks and
step in the same sidewalk that people from all types and from
the 4 corners of the world have stepped on.
