Love it. I was born in NOLA and love everything about it.

I live 45 minutes from New Orleans. It is great! You have to be careful of what areas you go to, but the French Quarter is wonderful. Street Performers, beignets (a donut covered in powdered sugar) and coffee at cafe du monde A lot of stars eat there.

The zoo is great and the Aquarium is wonderful. Mardi Gras is one big party!!!!

It is worth seeing at least once in your life!

I'd love to live there.

I was just there (from SoCA, so a big difference) and I thought it was wonderful. My hotel was in the French Quarter. I went all over, up and down. There were no bad smells, no bodies in the street and I still have my purse. People were courteous, friendly and helpful. I loved the cab drivers!

Here's a Flickr's link to a photo of the Mississippi River that I took from my room (only $56/night - I'm not rich!). This was Sun. 12/28/08 and there was shipping traffic...busy River!

I love New Orleans! I live an hour away. They have sporting events - we saw the Hornets play the spurs the other day. There are great museums, the zoo. The architecture is amazing. There is always something going on. A lot of events are free to the public. Plus, the food is to die for.....

I went to New Orleans in March 08. I fell in love with the city! It was everything I thought it would be, from the movies and pictures I had seen. It had that old world charm. So much character. The people were so nice as well. I plan to go back one day. I think I left my heart there.

I've lived here all my life. I love it here, but I'm ready for a change. I'd say its better then most states. The foood has to be the best ever, sorry.

I LOVE New Orleans!!! I live about an hour and a half from there and I go every chance I get. The French Quarter is full of history! It's such a great place to just get out and walk and admire the architecture!! If you're planning on going do it NOW!! You won't regret it!

I have a friend from New Orleans who loves it there. But I personally am afraid to go, because I heard it smelled bad. And there is a lot of thievery as far as I know...
