Cost of living is much cheaper than Colorado! People are much more friendly...best of all don't have 3 full months of having to drive in the snow!

never been there, but i picture dusty old pick-up trucks with alot of toby keith bumper stickers and chew spit down the drivers and brides doors.

I'm not far from OK. Drove through it a few weeks ago, it's definitely ugly, but still better than Texas.

Oh and toll roads suck.

I live there.
You can't get tattoos or 6-point beer (no liquor at all on Sundays), and they only just now put in a state lottery (although there are Indian casinos all over the place). Then there are the numerous toll roads that cost you a fortune to go anywhere fast.
To be honest, if my hubby didn't have a great job here, we wouldn't live here!

It's ok, lived here for almost 3 years. It's a little backward, especially compared to Ca. Health care for the poor is absolutely crappy. Most of the people here don't have a sense of humor, they are kinda dumb too. They make up their own rules when playing pool. They are very bible-totin', The women really have big feet, and some smell a little french. The women also tend to want to really get down to business on the first date, and get serious to fast. They do have a quality of old fashioned values, which the rest of the country could learn from. They are not very concious of nature. Basicaly a good place with good but kinda ignorant people.
