The state I live in that I hate that is full of racist southern baptists that look down their nose at me because I wasn't raised to be a racist and say sly remarks behind my back for being the mother of a biracial child, having tattoos, and being an Atheist. I wouldn't live here if it weren't for my family. Oh, also I think of peaches, magnolias, brown thrashers, people who still fly the rebel flag on the back of their trucks, and the KKK.

- Long, empty roads (with "speed limits" that are more guidelines than limits!)

- Peaches (though I never saw a single one while I was there!)

Red Clay, Kudzu plants, Bulldogs (or should I say Bulldawgs), Good home cooking, Atlanta, and NOT peaches, because they are none here! Unless you are refering to those beautiful GA "peaches"....definetly plenty of them! I'm from GA and I produce, arrange, record and mix music, I choreograph dances and I speak spanish....dumb, not really. Most of those ignorant stereotypes are accepted by ignorant people. Georgia is Southern, but Southern does not equate with stupidity anymore than Northern equates with intelligence. Anybody with even half a working brain will soon come to the conclusion that there are dumb and intelligent people EVERYWHERE you go, simple as that. I have lived in rural GA and in Atlanta and its great all over, I love GA, and would have it no other way. OH YEA, how could I forget trees, trees, trees, EVERGREEN PINE TREES!!

Well I am from Georgia and I do not think that way at all. I think people from GA are full of southern hospitality. It makes me mad when people from other places move down here and then have the nerve to make fun of the south. It's REALLY rude. Why the hell did they move here if all they are going to is make fun it. I have never went to any other part of the country and made fun of the locals, I guess people from GA have a few good qualities..common courtesy and common since. So many people wouldn't move here if it wasn't such a nice state to live.

I think inbreeding, one of the most overweight states in the country, my uncle George, peaches, elegant plantations with women wearing extravagant dresses and umbrellas saying "Well I do declare!" and then fanning themselves off with their lacy fans, Atlanta, racial diversity, swimming, ocean, islands, vacation, fun, and the end of the Appalachian Mountains.

That's everything that popped into my mind!
